Safe to park car in Willow Bend mall parking garage overnight for the storms?

We're projected to get some nasty storms tonight and I don't have access to covered parking. I was recommended to park overnight at Willow Bend, but according to rule 8 of their code of conduct:
"When the center and stores are closed, please leave. Please do not park or loiter on the property after closing. Unauthorized vehicles parked overnight may be towed at VEHICLE OWNER’S EXPENSE."
I definitely don't need my car getting towed so but also don't want it getting pounded with hail. Does anyone have experience leaving their car at Willow Bend or know any confirmed safe places to leave my car overnight? Thanks for any help

I'd put a note on the front window telling them why you're there

I put a note on my car asking the hail not to hit

it’s a little further but when i was in an apartment with no covered parking i always parked my car in the nebraska furniture mart parking garage for severe weather and sometimes got it the next morning, and it was never an issue

It will be the 7th car to park there this weekend.

Hospital parking garage.

Not ideal though because employees and patients might not be able to access parking if enough people try this

Overnight, the parking garages are often empty areas. Especially in the higher levels. Spoken from an overnight hospital worker. And next to zero patients park in the garage at night.

This is the one

Yes, have parked at presby during bad weather for years and never have issues.

Just get a bunch of noodles or roll the dice.

I used to park at Watters Creek Village in Allen, but never left the vehicle overnight. You could call the Plano Baylor Scott White hospital security office and ask them, too. I think Plano has a covered garage downtown.

That's just false. Maybe for abandoned vehicles on the road or something but private parkinglots can definitely tow without written notice
Physical-Yak-5762@reddit
We did it all the time. Never an issue.

We are in east Plano close to downtown and head to Cityline parking garage

Hospitals are good options. My MIL would take her vehicle to Baylor Scott off Preston/PGBt

You should be fine, not a terrible idea but I would check any signage and write any contact numbers down like if they have a tow company.
It is a free garage to park in and I am sure they’ve had people do it before for reasons like a break down or lost keys etc.

How do you not have covered parking? Apartments have parking garages and homes are self-explanatory.
suprememontana@reddit (OP)
I live in an apartment with a garage but the garage is occupied. You have to pay for the covered spots
bionica@reddit
Not all apartments have parking garages. Not all apartments have covered parking. Not all houses have space in their garage for a vehicle.

OP could be traveling and staying in a hotel. Not all apartments have garages or covered parking, some are just surface lots. Some townhomes or other smaller houses might not have a garage, OP’s family may have more vehicles than will fit in a garage, or their garage could be used for storage/converted into another room/etc.
