[Times column] Farmer Jeremy Clarkson: “Spare a thought for the real victims of the housing crisis” 🐦⬛

For those wondering when Jeremy Clarkson would ever use his newspaper columns to calculate the speed of birds…great news! That day has finally arrived. Here is a preview:
“As it goes along, this column will eventually address politics, greed, ambition, hope, despair and the futility of protest in a world where the corporation is king. But we begin with a bird you hardly ever see any more: the swift.
“The first thing you need to know about this amazing little creature is that it’s fast. Really fast. It may only be 6in long and 18in across, but it can reach 70mph, making it the fastest bird of them all.”
(Because it’s The Sunday Times, note that these are solely Clarkson’s views and watch out for a potential paywall encounter.)

I love it when Jezza pays actual attention to problems like this that are both serious and solvable.

In this very column, he disparages other wildlife activists making the same point about other species facing habitat loss and environmental impacts.
The man isn't particularly serious about wildlife conservation or the environment as a whole, he just adopts the stance of whoever spoke to him last.

Should be on the Clarkson sub. This is a different actor than was on Grand Tour.
