New eBike, need to buy a good lock

So I just bought my first ebike, a Gyrocopters Brio, from a family friend. It retails for about $800 CAD (I paid less than that), so it's on the cheap end but serving me well. I mostly use it to commute to work where I can store it safely without any lock (ex: taking it inside with me). The problem is when I want to go to the store or somewhere else where I'd need to lock it up. I only have a cheap, shitty combination cable lock from one of my other bikes, so I definitely need to upgrade.
I've been looking at the Hiplok DX+ as my primary lock, and intend to take the battery inside with me to make my bike less desirable. Is this lock good enough for a bike of this price range? I know the D1000 is the gold standard, but it'd cost me as much or more than I paid for the bike itself. I know a second lock is recommended, but I don't know which I should pick to not break the bank.
If I were to go with the DX+ through the back tire and frame paired with a second lock and take the battery with me, should this be sufficient to prevent theft?

EnzZone heavy-duty anti theft alarm u lock.
It's heavy duty with an alarm, if your bike is parked somewhere that you can not see it, a thief with enough time can cut it. With this alarm if you are anywhere close you should hear it.
