I am going to purchase a 10.5 inch, 5.56 rifle and I wonder if it’s good? There aren’t many options in my country.

Stag was manufacturing the M16 / ARs for Colt and then decided to go into business for them self and make their own ARs; so stag arms learned how to build ARs from colt; Just a little history. I personally never used a stag arms AR but I have friends that own them and their decent firearm's.

This is partially true. The son of the owner of CMT (Ted Malkowski) helped his son (Mark Malkowski) get Stag Arms off the ground. CMT was a military contractor and did supply the US military with guns, as well as many parts for Colt, Rock River and others.
Colt stopped using Stag/CMT as a supplier once Stag started manufacturing and branding their own rifles, which was a relationship they had going back to the mid 70's.

What do you think about Rock River then? Is it better?

Rock River makes some of the best for the dollar AR’s ever built. Everyone talks about how incredibly tight the upper and lower lockup is. They take Wilson Arms barrels and cryo them to improve the accuracy(White Oak Armament uses a lot of Wilson Arms, so they are known shooters). So it’s common to hear about half MOA Rock Rivers. They have had multiple government contracts. Only 2 strikes against them. First is not even a strike. They are behind the times, so you’ll look a 20 years ago throw back rocking their shit. The big one was when they and Springfield Armory decided to try to help Illinois make it impossible for most people and company to sell guns in their state. You would have had a few large retailers to buy from and they would only stocked a few brands. So it was an attempt to get rich.
