I have German citizenship but lived in the USA for a while. I know have to move back to Germany. What should I do with my US bank account? I have some savings and would like high interests (APY) from an ensured bank.
Germany and the rest of the EU do not pay much interests. So, what should I do?

You can keep it open, if they accept international residence, and if so the interest rates on the savings may differ, or just close it and move to a EU one. Aside from discouraging using ING, I think plenty of banks atm offer 3.5-4% gross interest on high liquidity savings account. Higher than that I don't know any unfortunately.

I don't think the dollar's a good place to store money right now.
That said, if you're going to take risks with USD while you live in Euro, you can do Betterment for near 4% - or if you're willing to do crypto you can get 4.5% un USDc with Coinbase or even more without residency proof with sDAI (will take some tech ability though).
