I have a little Insurance question

What insurance company would you say is the best for a project car that is modified and sometimes daily driven? And what insurance companies do you use?

Hagerty. They specialize in custom cars. You need a stated value policy. If you put a modified car with a normal auto carrier, they are not going to account for your modifications at the time of loss. My classic is insured for what I spent on it, not what the book says the market value is.

I have heard Hagerty will cover your car, but after claiming once will drop you as a customer.

I was able to insurance both a classic mini and classic Vette through start farm for a set amount. Not sure if OPs project would be viable for that, but the mini was a 93, so at the time, 25-30 years old

I live out in the farming/country area, so my experience might be a bit different, but I use country financial for my auto insurance. My agent has never asked if any of my vehicles are modified when it comes to insurance for my six cars, and the ones I'm not currently using are put under a storage insurance policy. This cost me about an extra $35 a month on top of my regular insurance policy.

I'll remember them. Sounds like a good option.
