It's the 25th anniversary! Weinstein no longer owns the movie!

I simultaneously have to have an existential crisis and rearrange some plans so I can go see it. Anyone else?

They are planning a steelbook 4k release with all sorts of special features. At least that's what Kevin said at the Philly live q and a screening.

I saw it the day it came out. Wanted that movie ever since the end of Clerks. Thank god the rights are no longer with Weinstein and we can get streaming and physical copies again.

I love that movie. I’ll have to look around to see if anyone’s showing it here. I bought the DVD (most likely a bootleg) online a few years ago, but I’d totally go to the theater.

I got to see him on his q&a tour a few weeks ago when he came to Pittsburgh (where a good chunk of the movie is filmed!). It was great; he had some good Carlin stories, and getting to see Dogma on a big screen again was awesome!

Naaaah...

Something nostalgic about watching it on an SLP VHS pirated HBO or from when we last rented it from the local shop (and remembered to bug a friend to borrow their VCR). The tape degrades, and the audio has a certain je ne sais quoi that seeing on HD on a big screen just won't be right.
