Turbo Kei truck fuel pressure regulator not working. The truck itself is a carb blow through setup. Pressure regulator has its 2 feeds and return. Has a vacuum line going to the turbo. But the gauge doesn't read anything and when I use the adjuster I don't get more pressure. I've tried 2 regulators

Whats your fuel pump situation, stock?

Stock pump for the truck. It’s an electric pump located outside of the tank

Is it capable of the fuel pressure youre gonna need? Is the stock regulator still in the system or is it bypassed?

I’m assuming the pump can atleast put out enough pressure to move the gauge. The needle doesn’t move or anything when I start the truck. This regulator is right where the old one was. Removed old one. Made some new hoses that connect to the hard line. And then put the new one right where the old one used to sit

Why would you assume anything? What is the stock fuel pump capable of delivering in terms of pressure and volume?

Wait, im pretty sure that regulator is scaled for electric fuel injection. Running idle out of boost it should be roughly 5-7 psi, then 1 on top per pound of boost will have this still under 20

yes it runs but no pressure shown. i guess im gonna look into a different regulator...
rudbri93@reddit
So it runs but never shows any pressure on the regulator?

It may not actually make enough pressure to move that gauge. It’s designed for a fuel injected system. My fuel pump at 2 psi would not move that needle at all. Try a gauge made for low pressure systems before making any decisions

Send and return lines backwards, or a lack of fuel pressure being sent from the tank are what comes to mind.

In pic 3 I show the regulator I’m using. My return line is on the bottom. Truck runs and is drivable but I still cut out when I build boost just like with the stock regulator
