Gun of the day

Trying to get in the habit of posting one gun from my collection every day. Day 2's gun is an IWI Jericho 941. A beefy CZ 75 clone. Massive. Heavy. Awesome.

such a satisfying handgun to look at

An R model is going to be the first thing I try and find once I move out of California.

I freaking love Jerichos haha. I have 3 of them and I’m trying to get a few more, but IMI-models only from here on out.
El_burrito91@reddit
This firearm has ridiculous great equilibrium from its size for the season enthusiasts to appreciate, the trigger pull is smooth as butter but it's going to cost a very pretty penny. Especially if you buy from boomers.
McGreasy@reddit
It’s 600 hundred when I bought it and pawn shops have it going for around 300 last I checked. I was looking for parts and new barrels in AZ. You can get them new 650 and use 300 and under.
tbrand009@reddit
Pretty penny? They're like $600.
I own two. A Jericho as pictured, as well as an OG "Uzi Eagle."
zippity__zoppity@reddit
I’ve wanted one of these for years but I’ve never heard anything about them/ never knew anyone that owned one.
McGreasy@reddit
Hi I bought it on whim. It’s my every day carry yes it is fucking heavy but you feel no recoil from the bullet because of the weight. I love this gun.
FuxtrotActual@reddit
They're fantastic and well worth the money. Smoothest shooting gun I own. When people say "you're gonna carry that weight" it's not just a line.
LiberalLamps@reddit
I like mine more than my SP01.
They were fantastic until a few years ago when IWI swapped from a polygonal barrel to conventional rifling and went to a two piece slide design that is prone to cracking. The lower slide part is MIM and several people have posted about them breaking.
You can tell if it’s a good one if it has a silver barrel, the updated ones have black barrels.
McGreasy@reddit
Love mine I every day carry it.

I own 941F IMI Israel, military industry before they switched over to a IWI it is one of my favorite guns to shoot has the best trigger of all my guns I own
sploader@reddit (OP)
I love the original Jerichos with no rail.
heroinebob90@reddit
I don’t hate it, but always thought that was kinda of a novelty gun. Like, I don’t know anyone who owns one. Am I wrong?
Klicky1@reddit
I have it because it is sexy. But I dislike CZ style guns so I do not shoot it much, although ironically, I probably shoot it best out of all my handguns.
sploader@reddit (OP)
It's the full-length dust cover and the angle of where it meets the muzzle that makes these so sexy. It's so interesting to look at compared to a standard CZ or a Tanfoglio.
sploader@reddit (OP)
It's a total novelty gun. The reasons I've always wanted a Jericho are the same reasons it's not a great gun to carry. It's large, heavy, and looks menacing. The size and weight make it really fun to shoot. The only time this thing ever makes it into a holster is when I carry it in my backyard.
EddieMcClintock@reddit
Lots of people own them and shoot them. I doubt many people carry them.
Quw10@reddit
I've got a surplus 941F I carry and I know a few people other people who carry some variety of it. Yea it weighs a bit more then your average polymer frame gun but it makes for a pretty soft shooter and honestly I don't even notice the weight most the time and even ditched my G17 for it when I still had one.
Fresh-Wealth-8397@reddit
Yeah it would be pretty hefty to carry. Shoots great tho everyone thats shot mine liked it.

Snoo_24287@reddit
IBest gun I own I have lots.
5stringattack@reddit
I love my Jericho and will never trade it, though I really wish it had the grip shape from a tanfoglio instead
Boomstick_762@reddit
See you, Space Cowboy.
5stringattack@reddit
You're gonna carry that weight.

My first and still my favorite is my IWI Masada, sadly there is no aftermarket, which is incredibly frustrating. Everyone who shoots it is surprised by how all around solid it is.
TheGreyWatcher@reddit
Love me my Jerichos.
