The IDE connectors.
Kinda neat things, got one in my drawer

You calling me old?
Jwhodis@reddit
I mean, IDE connectors are no longer used but I never explicitly said that " u/NationalReading3921 is old "
NationalReading3921@reddit
I remember before IDE connectors were keyed. Meaning you could plug them in backwards and fry a HDD.

It looks like a, "I built this for my parents/grandparents and they never powered it on even once" special.

Easy enough to find out. Check the SMART data of the HD and there the power on hours.
But yes, it looks pretty much unused

I miss the days of finding old machines outside as it's become incredibly rare here.

That's probably the second coolest case I've ever seen in my life....after the Hp xw8600

I have the same graphics :D Could you look at the specifications on the GPU? Pls, I don't know what mine has because I'm repairing the PC.

Love the look of that case!

That a 100% authentic Taiwanese clone! The most repairable, compatible, upgradable machine there was!

you can blank the plastic to white using hydrogen peroxid (oxigened water or peroxid of hydrogen), putting the plastic in that liquid with uv light or the sunlightÂ

Wow I had that same case (although the silver plates on the front were blue) and even same motherboard, had a Pentium 2.4 GHz on it. Gave me nothing but joy for 10 years.

Nice monitor.

It's a generic inexpensive case. I had a very similar one from Fry's Electronics back in the day. They were like 20 bucks without a power supply.
