Nightlife in Budapest

Hey guys,

We're a group of 6 guys (ages 24-26) visiting Budapest in about a month with the main intention to party. So I'm asking for recommendations on the city's nightlife. We're up for anything fun ---bars, clubs, unique spots---. We've got a pretty wide range in music taste, we like most music. We're very open-minded and just looking for good energy, good music and good vibes. Appreciate any tips--- Thanks in advance! 🙌

Locals don't appreciate party tourists in general, especially not when they roam around in groups. Keep in mind that Budapest is not a disneyland for drunks but actual people live their actual lives here who prefer to sleep at night not listen to drunk party tourists screaming under their windows. Be respectful, mind your surroundings, don't shout, vomit or harrass locals, try to behave like a decent human being or stay home and wreck your own hometown instead.

Thanks for highlighting this! This is completely understandable, and we'll keep that in mind. We've been going on these trips for some time now, and it is never our intention to offend or disturb anyone. We're just looking to experience other nightlife cultures than our own. This is also why I made the post in the first place, to be as respectful as possible 😊

you are not the first party tourists who claim to be not like all the others. but we've all seen what happens when a big group of guys get together with the sole intent of getting drunk and high.

Seems like we've picked the wrong destination this year. 😅

I don't really think I can add anything to change your mind. We'll keep it low-key and save most of the partying for another trip. Luckily there's a lot of other things to do in your beautiful city 😊
