First build in 10 years.

Its finally time to start planning a replacement for my current rig that I built in 2015. Here is the list I've thrown together in PcPartpicker. I'm looking at spending around $2K with a new monitor. Also looking at 32" 1440p to go with this setup. Will probably start picking up parts thru the summer and build in late July or August. Will also keep looking for good deals between now and then. Not sure what games I'll be playing as I'm out of the loop on PC gaming. Will definitely be playing MSFS.

Change memory to DDR5 6000, but CL30

I'll look into the better CL ram. I threw this list together relatively quick this morning. Will do some more research.

It's not that big of a deal, but generally the ideal latency for 6000 Mhz is Cl30 latency. It will be marginal performance gain, but since the price difference is usually only a couple dollars, it's worth it.

Quick correction. CL30 isn't the 'ideal' for AM5, as with CL the lower the better so CL26 or CL28 would be a slight improvement over CL30. CL30 is typically the price/performance sweet spot, though.

Are you in the U.S, and do you live near a Microcenter. If you live in the U.S there are frequent sales for all computer parts including CPU bundles that appear on r/buildapcsales . There most likely will be 7800X3D or 9800X3D bundles in the future where you will be able to save money.
Heres some examples of 7800X3D bundles, within the last month. (9800X3D B1, 9800X3D B2, 7800X3D B1, 7800X3D B2). GPU sales will be frequent, where you will have chances of getting MRSP GPUs. With your budget, you could look anywhere from a 9070XT to a 5070 ti.

Unfortunately the closest Microcenter is about a 4 hour drive from me. I have been keeping an eye on their stock and my make a trip if able. I would definitely like to pick out a case after seeing one on the shelf.
