Upgrading PC and unsure which parts to get

Hello everyone, I'm currently running a 6700k from 2015 and it's going strong still but I think it's about time to upgrade it after all this time. I was looking at switching to AMD for the first time and going for a 7600x or a 7900x with a "MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard" with some 32gb ram DDR5-6000 ram. I'm probably just gonna use the same fans I have now as well as my psu and gpu for the time being. Is this a good build? It's been a while since I've built. I have 1440p 144hz

I made a mistake with that PSU too. It was from an old build I was working on. Make sure you get a 750w like the Thermaltake toughpower Gt adds an extra $60 to the build.

What is your budget and country? What is your current GPU and PSU? It's impossible to recommend anything without knowing what PSU you have.

GPU is 1080ti hybrid and the PSU is 850w G2, in England and up to 300 - 500 gbp I guess for the motherboard, cpu and ram combined

This is within budget with one of the best CPU coolers on the market. Upgrade your GPU in the future for better performance, the 1080 Ti will be quite the bottnwcl in this situation.

Thank you so much, I'll look into these

Your welcome.

I guess it depends on what you need it to do but I saw a decent build the other day close to that which is mid range on price and can handle any game atm:
Case: Deepcool CG530 4f TG ATX Mother: Gigabyte B650M gaming CPU: Ryzen 5 7600x Gpu: RTX 5070 Ram: 2 x 8gb ddr4 PSU: cooler master n600 Storage: 512SSd Cooler: Coolermaster Liquid
Total cost for the build is AUD$1932 but the major cost is the GPU @ $989.00 so you could always upgrade it later. I’m also waiting for GPU prices to drop so I can upgrade mine.

Ahh okay thank you! Yeah, I'm gonna wait on the GPU prices to drop a bit before purchasing so I'll stick with my 1080ti for the time being

Yeah well it’s rumoured that the 5070 super will come out within a year so hopefully that drops the price of the 5070 which I think is one of the best valued GPU’s atm. Hopefully that drops the price on the 5070ti too because I want to get a 4K card for under $1000.
