Turkish civil engineer Yalçın Coşkun found dead in Serbia. He was on wanted list in Turkey with red bulletin. He was the constructor of Rönesans Residence of Hatay. Thoughts?

There are no official news on Serbian portals - are there any news related to death cause?
DranzerKNC@reddit (OP)
“…olayla ilgili soruşturma başlatılırken, Coşkun'un ölüm sebebine ilişkin resmi bir açıklama yapılmadı.”
-Serbian authorities launched an investigation although the reason of death remains unknown, it says.

So wss he a good guy or a bad guy?
DranzerKNC@reddit (OP)
He was wanted in Turkey with red notice for the building he contracted being collapsed during earthquake and killing 269 citizens living inside the building.
An arresting warrant was issued after event but he was already run away from country.
So, I assume the majority is simply very happy for the fact that he (possibly) get killed, however maybe it’d be better to judge him to learn if he had any connections to possible corrupt officials or politicians to deepen the investigation further for maximum justice possible.
Serbian investigation going to be followed by Turks for this reason.
ilovemangos3@reddit
I’m confused and asking as an honest question, is he being arrested because he knew that the building would collapse or willingly didn’t put forth his best effort in its construction, or he just did his job (poorly i guess?), it failed in the earthquake, and now he’s out for arrest?
freeturk51@reddit
He was wanted because he bribed officials to get the rights to build apartments, and then built the apartments without a regard for the earthquake safety code to build them fast and cheap so he could make more money, and he did that knowingly. AKP usually sweeps these stuff under the rug since they are the ones getting bribed, but his case was one of the worst ones, so much so that even AKP couldnt hide it and they put a red warrant for his arrest.
Bilbolbu@reddit
So do you think he was killed to cover up those alleged connections with the establishment?
DranzerKNC@reddit (OP)
Although we don’t have death penalty in our criminal code, we are similar to Russia when it comes to punish treason alike crimes. It is 50/50 either satisfying public outrage or covering up corruption.

The last earthquake, a couple of years ago? Why was his building so special, if I remember, they've been plenty of buildings destroyed back then :(?

Friendly reminder that EU supports Vucic
DranzerKNC@reddit (OP)
Its all cool mate Vucic and Erdoğan are on the same boat. Serbia is only mentioned for being a place.
magicman9410@reddit
Nah mate, Serbia is not just a place.
The place you refer to is THE place to do business like that in.
Now, am I saying one of ours did it? Not at all. Am I saying that one of ours knew something about something possibly going down and sanctioning it? You decide.

Our breakaway (but 100 pct ours) province of Kosovo is worse, if thats a consolation. Literally allowing the abduction of 10 suspected Gulenists after that coup de etat fail some yeras back
DranzerKNC@reddit (OP)
I see. We’re still not sure if he had some connections to certain persons in high places. The answers of such questions would change everything. The Serbian investigation will be very important for many Turks including those who lost their loved ones.
magicman9410@reddit
I wanted to add that too: this is all speculation now. We need to wait for more news and official investigation and documentation of this.
