My colleague superglued my pen, fork and the glue itself on my work bench. I’m in trades workshop. What would be a good comeback to a sparkly bench?

Shit on it
Agzarah@reddit
Then glitter it

Work place pranks escalate very quickly. I have seen things go very badly for all involved. If it was me I would not mention it EVER. just carry on like it never happened. It will drive your co-worker nuts. Good luck
Tldr. (Aerosol spray glue and glitter)

Screw his work boots to the floor.

Decorate his PPE… especially if he has a hard hat.
Wraithei@reddit
Make a hard hat a "helmet" 😉
Bunister@reddit
20,000 volts to the testicles?
Wraithei@reddit
Reminds me of college when someone snuck up on me and clipped the megger metre to my ears...
FredB123@reddit
This is the way.

Fish juices poured over the carpet underneath the desk and chair last thing Friday so it'll dry over the weekend.
UnderstandingFit8324@reddit
I'm assuming this guy shares a workspace. Seems like a "sink the ship to kill the captain" situation
MrWhippyT@reddit
Agreed but that might not stop me. Vengeance is sweet. 🤣
Dominicain@reddit
Two neodymium magnets and a harmonica under his van.
Extension_Sun_377@reddit
Tape a fish into his engine bay

Solder his screwdriver to his locker.

Buy a frozen rat from the pet shop and stick it in a tool box he rarely uses. Won't find out until it starts to stink
WarmIntro@reddit
It takes a while but clingfilm and tinfoil wrap everything
LordAxalon110@reddit
As someone who was a chef for 20 years. I've done this to whole cars before now lol.
Petrichor_ness@reddit
I once worked in an office attached to a warehouse.
Every time someone had a birthday, their car got wrapped in clingfilm and it got forklifted up on a shelf. A few years after I left, I heard they had to stop after one poor guy had his car neatly packaged and filed away just before his wife called to say she'd gone into early labour with their first child and was on her way to the hospital.

The American approach would be a bullying complaint to HR and a lawsuit against your workmate.
Think-Committee-4394@reddit
OH OP- so many ideas, some borrowed, some new
electrical items with a power strip that can be turned off or unplugged? Wait for a choice moment then unplug & plug in a nice loud siren so when they go under desk to power up it goes off in their ear! I will bet real money they smack their head on the under desk
do they have a company phone at their desk? The old cable tie the cord to itself do they lift the whole phone up trick
do they drive & leave their car keys accessible? Nip out & get key copied, then as opportunity presents, move the car a bit - alter the seat & mirrors - change every pre programmed channel on their radio to the worst one you can find
Also cut the legs off of a squeaky rubber chicken & duct tape it to the exhaust
Sensitive-Ad-7475@reddit
If glue is in play I’d think about utilising the ceiling…
will_i_hell@reddit
Superglue several full yoghurt pots upside down to his bench.
4me2knowit@reddit
Weld his toolbox to a beam
-You_Cant_Stop_Me-@reddit
Pure evil, I love it!
4me2knowit@reddit
I saw it on a revenge subreddit. His mates wouldn’t help him as he’d pranked them all
BeardedBaldMan@reddit
Shrimp paste in his respirator mask.
fuck_peeps_not_sheep@reddit
Dose he do electronics or welding. I've seen both called sparky. If electrics then braid all his cable is to neat braids. When he needs wire he has to undo it all. If welding then weld his toolbox to the leg of his workbench. It'll still open, it'll still work, but he will never be able to pick it up, move it or take it anywhere.
allgone79@reddit
Glitter and glue my friend. Dip his tools in pva glue and then glitter them.
SnooRegrets8068@reddit
I'd say make it a really sparkly bench. Tho glitter may up the ante slightly too much.
Gullible_Mode_1141@reddit
Glitter has always been my thing too. It's amazing how a little gets everywhere. Super glue glitter on all the handles of all his tools too. Pretty! Petty too, of course.
badger_fun_times76@reddit
Glitter is the herpes of crafts
3Cogs@reddit
50V capacitor charged and left lying around with his other stuff.

If he leaves a multimeter out over lunch, swap the red and black leads. All his measurements will be opposite.

Stapler in jelly?
deanomatronix@reddit
He showed weakness, you pounced
HMSWarspite03@reddit
If you have a nail gun, get busy fixing his entire tool collection to his work bench.
MarvinArbit@reddit
Or underneath the workbench so it is all upside down.
MarvinArbit@reddit
Glitter bomb !! Send a parcel to him with one inside!
Pier-Head@reddit
Pink glitter and unicorn balloons. And spray some tacky perfume 👍
Cuntinghell@reddit
This exact thing happened to me. We took his reclining office chair, sat in the reclined position, had the welder weld a bar in locking it reclined. He spent about 20 min subtly trying to get his chair upright before clocking us all sniggering.
We always cable-tied any snips/cable cutters (anything that cuts cable-tied) together too.
kuronboshine@reddit
Burn his house down.
FidelityBob@reddit
Get some large bubble wrap. Just as he's about to touch something live sneak up behind and as he reaches our wring out the bubble wrap.
Goldf_sh4@reddit
Or bubble-wrap husband entire desk and chair/workspace.
farlos75@reddit
Glitter in his tools/van.
AdditionChemical890@reddit
Glitter in a drawer. Need to keep it light and mildly inconvenient- I think fish juice is a step too far 😂
watchyam8@reddit
Remove a screw from a drawer. Or loosen the screw. Open. Close. Open. Close. Open …collapse.

50V capacitor charged and left lying around with his other stuff.
