is RTX 3060 Still worth it in 2025?

I came across an brand new MSI Ventus 2X RTX 3060 (12GB) for $155 (new). I'm wondering if it's still worth it in 2025.
What do you think? Should I go for it or save a bit more for something newer?
Thanks!

That is a very good price for a new card. Like the others say that will still work well at 1080p and the 12GB will extend it's useful life.

Yeah good price, still a solid 1080p card aged well because of its 12GB vram .

I sold my used 3060 for that much. So new is pretty good deal. And yeah it is capable..actually more capable than 4060 and 5060 due to that VRAM and 192bit buffer

Still a very decent card for 1080p gaming.
I have it paired up with i7 4790K in my kids PC, and it runs most new titles at high setting with over 60FPS, just some most demanding games have to be dropped to medium settings.

Intel Arc B580

According to pc partpicker US that is starting 310 USD
Don't get me wrong the b580 is great but at 2x the cost, and needing resizeable bar to perform properly it's hard to suggest without knowing the rest of the build

A quick search says the 3060 was at 329 at MSRP.
Depends on what kind of performance you are going for. Probably a decent GPU for 1080p. I would say it wasn’t worth it when it released..probably should have been around this cost when it launched in terms of performance..there were much stronger options in comparison.

Pretty solid for that price tbh
