Anyone know how to keep everything from turning off when trk auto starts?

2025 t680 everything resets when trk auto starts any way around it?

Would be a mod, but you could power the inverter straight from the batteries, but then the truck couldn't disable the inverter if the voltage is critical.

But most inverters will shut down or reset if the voltage drops below a threshold. Starting the truck draws a lot of power. If the batteries are older the voltage drops low enough to affect the inverter and the devices being used will shut down.

So, may be a failing battery causing this?

You need UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply). It’ll charge up while the power is on and then once power is removed for that split second the UPS will run the devices off it’s stored energy for the time it takes for the inverter to cut back on. Usually used in IT for servers and equipment to stay running during power issues or simply things like in your case when things need to be reset but stay running the equipment.

You need a UPS back up battery for the devices that you want to stay on while the truck auto restarts. I had this same problem before.

Thanks brother I’ll pick one up as soon as I can

Also, depending on what voltage your device take up will determine what size of UPS you need.

I would try to game with the opti-idle on and my shot would turn off when the truck turned on.

Define everything. I'm going to assume you mean everything that's connected to your inverter. The only option is to buy a UPS battery backup. Make sure it says UPS.

Couldn’t you just use a simple surge protector tho? My 21 didnt do this
Dindu______Nuffin@reddit
No, it's not a surge, it's the power going to low while the engine cranks with a low battery, so the inverter turns itself off/ into safe mode. I think some inverters have an option to disable the safe mode, or change the voltage that it engages, so you might be able to try that

Okay thank you appreciate it

Okay hell yeah thank you, tired of deselecting a movie when it starts up.
