Absolutely cool, but that stuff was the mainlining psycho toons when I was a bit older in the 90s. My psychotic beginnings in the 70s were Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tom and Jerry, and Yosemite Sam to name a few. OOOHHH the anvil violence.

1993: Beavis & Butthead
1995: The Gap. I often wonder if something was supposed to come out this year, but got preemptively cancelled.

A friend of mine was buddies with the creator of Ren and Stimpy and I gottat tell you that the TV version is way tamer than the original work. John Kricfalusi is a seriously demented individual (in the best way possible).

I taught English in Japan from 1993-1995. Took a VHS cassette with a bunch of Ren & Stimpy episodes with me, animeĀ being a such a big thing in Japan and all that. Showed it to my students. One by one they turned and looked at me like I had just asked them to save their fingernail clippings for my big jar. I think somebody started weeping.
