I needed 70g of protein. Salmon teriyaki salad (3 cans of salmon), 2 eggs, brown rice. She ain’t a looker but it hits the macros.

I allways cringe when I read that. Like how hard is to eat? Or to plan ahead so you „don’t miss your protein goal“
I allways wonder if people just randomly eat and at the end of the day their body tells them „you did not hit your protein goal for today.“. And then people start panicing and butcher the neighbors chicken or something…

Haha well you can calculate how much protein you need based on body weight/lean mass etc so if you're trying to hit 120/150/180 grams of protein it's definitely a struggle

To hit 180g of protein is not easy, a LOT of your food has to be pure protein, there's not a lot of room for other macros

I still don’t get it why it’s not easy. You just need to open your mouth and eat. Spread it out through out the day, eat stuff that some protein like beans, Half and half of carbs and protein for example.
I better don’t tell how much protein I eat per day because 1: you wouldn’t believe it anyways and secondly everytime I mention my diet I get criticized and downvoted for it😅
