ULPT: Get subscriptions like Spotify Premium or YouTube Premium for $1 a month using VPNS/proxies

A lot of apps like YouTube Premium, Spotify, Netflix, etc. have regional pricing, meaning they charge different rates depending on your country. For example, YouTube Premium is $14/month in the US but just \~$1.70/month in Pakistan.
Heres how to use this to your advantage:
-
Use a VPN or proxy to connect to a lower-cost country like Pakistan, Egypt, or Nigeria
-
Open a private/incognito window in Firefox (this helps avoid browser fingerprint issues).
-
Go to YouTube and head to the Premium payment page, you should now see the regional price (e.g., 480 PKR if you're on a Pakistani IP).
-
Proceed to checkout and pay for the youtube premium with the new regional price. Now you'll only have to pay $1.70 per month instead of $14 per month.
This method can be used with any app that has regional pricing such as disney plus, apple music, netflix, etc.
PinchePendejo@reddit
This wont work, you'll need a payment method from that country otherwise the payment declines.
You'll need to use a site like cheapzy.net they use suppliers located in Turkey/Nigeria that buy the subscriptions for you using their own bank card
Azzeez@reddit
That’s not completely true, I have all my stuff setup in Korea and I still pay with my US credit card. As far as I can tell it won’t change whenever I leave unless after so long of not being on a Korean IP I’ll get flagged.
AceKingLee@reddit
But how do you remain on korean ip at all times?
Azzeez@reddit
I’m not sure what you mean? I live in Korea, but whenever I travel or go home for a month or two it still works fine. So idk maybe after a year it might get flagged.
Kitterath@reddit
Can vouch for cheapzy got my spotify and netflix off them
DontBuyMeGoldGiveBTC@reddit
It's also unnecessary. I have a Venezuelan Spotify and pay with my Spanish card at a heavily reduced price. I also have a Venezuelan Netflix which I pay with my Spanish card. Netflix max plan costs, for me, $7 a month iirc
maule90@reddit
thank you! i was looking for something like that for days! just ordered spotify there
UtopianWarCriminal@reddit
Interesting site... but worried about the person in the replies here saying their Spotify premium ended early and the support ticket was closed... could be completely their own fault or the exception... might use for discord nitro, though. I would save like 60% vs my local price.
deadlyjeddly@reddit
id guess they're probably the exception, the site has good reviews on trustpilot
LavaCreeperBOSSB@reddit
I got spotify through Cheapzy, lost my subscription before a year was up and they closed my support ticket
jonnypkmtrainer@reddit
User name checks out.
mrKrabslaugh@reddit
Cool, going to check 'em out!
deadlyjeddly@reddit
Thank you!

Get it for free with modded apps !
transcendYourTruth@reddit
Or you could just use the Brave browser and not pay anything... lol
v15hk@reddit
Or use duckduckgo which also strips out all YouTube adverts
--MichaelScott--@reddit
What do you mean?
ban_Anna_split@reddit
I don't use brave because the guy who runs it is a cryptobro, but people use it cause it's got AdBlock built-in. You can just put ublock on Firefox or any of the other random firefox-based browsers tho.
On Android you can also just use youtube revanced and download a patched Spotify APK which removes ads anywho
postmasterp@reddit
I like brave but didn’t know it was run by a crypto bro. You saying the risk with it is it will install mining stuff on peoples’ machines? Or is it mainly you just don’t want to support douchebags?
ban_Anna_split@reddit
The second one
bkilian93@reddit
Seconding this question
Key-Animator-9569@reddit
Need subscription for Alua creator

Majilkins@reddit
Better thing is use revanced and get it all for free.
Forward_Trainer1117@reddit
I had YT premium for a couple years with this method, paid like $3/month for it. Then they cancelled my subscription and told me I had to sign up with a payment method that matched my region. YT premium is like the one subscription that I actually use the hell out of so I pay regular price now
One-Statistician9565@reddit
This post is stupid and outdated.
Google is asking for address and phone number, near IP, you need to have that country Credit card. Otherwise, they will cancel it like in TOS.
pepe_botika@reddit
the adress and phone number, you can take hospital from the capital and they will always have an operativa phone.
with the credit card, you can use online cards that work perfectly.
they are trying hard to cut it but still works, it is not outdated at all
fernandopcg@reddit
Until they send a SMS code for verification
pepe_botika@reddit
you can buy a number for hours for less than a euro
One-Statistician9565@reddit
They will cancel ti at some point, you have no peace if is not done properly.
pepe_botika@reddit
whatever you want, i have it since 2019.
One-Statistician9565@reddit
Please give me online cards for turkey and pakistan, or india, or any cheap country. Cuz I can't make one. Use other cards online? too much trouble........or use stolen cards?!
Vicebaku@reddit
5sim.net
Nickersnacks@reddit
I don’t know about the other services but you can get a year of Spotify by purchasing a 1 year card online from another country for $20
josephdk23@reddit
Yep! Used this for about 2 years but over the past year they’ve really cracked down.
GreenGroveCommunity@reddit
Ublock origin is free, it costs you $0 forever, you give no data to Youtube, and it blocks all ads on every website
Fuzzy_Stingray@reddit
At that point you might as well just pirate what you want, If you already have the VPN.
The_ZMD@reddit
Just use revanced or something.
whamra@reddit
Aside from address verification issues, Spotify will insist you pay using a bank card of this specific country.
chemicaldavid@reddit
Use Spliiiit to get onto people's family accounts that they have spare slots available for. Lots of other apps and services too.
Spliiiit
Buck_Slamchest@reddit
Sure, the OP is a few years behind everyone else with this post but some of the methods still do work, although it’s more of a matter of how long nowadays.
I signed up for the 4K Netflix package via Nigeria this week for the equivalent of $1 a week and that’s working fine.
Tidal via Nigeria works as well but I imagine it’ll ultimately lead to these companies adding Nigeria to the list of countries that require a local payment method as it’s the easiest way to block them.
One-Statistician9565@reddit
My balls, google just deactivated 2 of my STORAGE 2tb accounts saying there are problems with payment and country =) , now I need to pay full price or I lost my shit.
UtopianWarCriminal@reddit
They should let you download your stuff through their checkout system, no? Or is the problem that you don't have that amount of local storage?
LavaCreeperBOSSB@reddit
I just did this for Spotify, needed an Indian credit card + address
fhuxy@reddit
Downvote this post to hell so people don’t waste their time. OP is a couple years too late.
doorsfan83@reddit
Or you can use xmanager for free Spotify premium, smarttube beta for free YouTube premium, and stremio with torrentio and a real debrid sub for $36 a year for all media that exists.
Tungsten_07@reddit
You can contact a resident of countries with low parity, send them the money and ask to get a family account. Then add your account. Feel free to contact me.
sammnyc@reddit
doesn’t work like this anymore.
fuckshitlord@reddit
No, Spotify really gets me bro. She wouldn't do that....I bought a ring...
SpoonFed_1@reddit
does this even work anymore.
I heard they were wanting a credit cards based on that region
saintbrodie@reddit
You can use a privacy.com card and grab a random address from the country for the billing address.
PessimisticMushroom@reddit
Not so simple. Some of these companies will cancel your account (after a while) if you use an IP address different to the one you claim to live in, so you will have to remember to use the VPN before opening the [insert app] that you choose to use.
Howie_Et@reddit
That's cool and all but then your app is loaded with content from that region and in the local language. Much less of a hassle to just fork over another ten bucks or so. I'm just taking a decent guess and really don't what I'm talking about tbh.
youssless@reddit
Just tried it for YT, can confirm you need a local payment method. I wonder if it's possible to get (virtual?) one based in a low COL country?
Background_Wheel_932@reddit
Doesn't the billing address need to match?
UnfunnyJosh@reddit
Do you have to just do it for signup? You don’t need a foreign address?
