What is the scariest movie you have ever watched?

Random question but wanted to know what films Balkaners find scary. A lot of ‘scary’ films recommended by people on Reddit (normally people from western countries) aren’t that scary to me, so I thought I would be scared by something that another Balkaner is also scared of. Thanks

I watched Ju-on Origins Series on Netflix.
It had the most disturbing horror scene that I ever saw, where this one guy killed the pregnant wife and took the unborn baby out and burried it and later the the unborn baby comes to haunt him and crawls in his mouth and kills him
The japanese have some psycho ass horror movies ...

James Cameroon's Aliens...by far. I watched it at a way to young age but this was common back then, we would just get together at a friends house and watch a movie someone's got.

I love found footage horror movies
I would say the spanish Movie "REC" was scary, especially the ending
yayayamur@reddit
not scary but I've seen "Megan is Missing" a few years ago and I found it very disturbing

I’m now immune to horrors, but I recall that I nearly p**ped in my pants when I was 9 after watching Annabelle.

Martyrs, but the French one. More gross and disturbing than scary, but still.

Why do people keep watching it
Abject-Stranger-985@reddit
I regret watching it. That movie was so disturbing, scenes from it keep popping into my head at random over the years since I watched it.

Case 39. Wasn’t scary in a “boooo unexpected jumpscare” sense, but it felt very unnerving. I was a kid when I watched it but maybe I’m remembering it to be more horror than it actually is

Leptirica (1973).
Also, for some reason, Sava Savanović scares me more than Count Dracula. He looks... how to say it... more genuine, I guess.

This film terrifies me because it’s true.

Not a scary movie, but I wasn't prepared for the vampires/zombies in the I Am Legend film. When he finds them all gathered together in the dark.

When I was 9 I watched Halloween 2 in cinema. And during the chase scene in hospital basement my 20 years older brother grabbed my shoulders from behind, squeezed them and yanked me back really forcefully. After that nothing really hits the same way.
