Sometimes what we want isn't what we need.

People who desire strengh, status, wealth often burnout to do things that'll make them look like they have those things.

But the strenght, status and wealth often doesn't fulfill what they need. Which is often validation, security, community.

I think that is the main cause for a lot of men's issues. What we've been tought to strive for won't give us what we need for a fulfilling life.

Yeah, we are generalizing. You have a point. You should look into interviews and pools about what woman find attractive in men.

They never say strenght. Like huge buff macho dudes, they do mostly like people who are slightly fit. And that are confident but without being overly competitive.

What we often think woman likes is mostly bogus.

Getting to know and date people isn't a job interview, as long as you can take care of yourself like an adult nobody is asking for a CV to verify how much "competent" you are.

Competency sure helps, but it's one of many criteria, just like, not being misoginist, being able to hold a conversation and e.t.c.

I agree that having ideals and working towards them is ultra valid. But where did you get that men on the left doesn't have them?

Like, let's drop the left/right bullshit for a sec, sure our ideals are different, but we push ourselves to not be just as good as our fathers, but to be better at things previous generations got absolutely wrong.

Also assuming that girls who would get with people you disagree didn't have options or was just hoes is such a jerk argument... you don't need to agree with me, but don't make a whole fanfiction in your head and speak it as it was true just because you imagined it.
