glock all day
Geronimo5316@reddit
All of them!
common_economics_69@reddit
A rifle
Snichblaster@reddit
Glock for a few reasons:
Exact-Event-5772@reddit
That’s a very high failure rate for a Glock.
Snichblaster@reddit
Not hard when the competition likes to go off at random times.
Bigkeithmack@reddit
Probably one without batteries, something that is easy to take apart and fixed with a little metallurgical know how, so that means my 380 Makarov. Like 8 parts and easy disassembly, fairly common ammo
Reasonable-Drink536@reddit (OP)
Batteries?
Bigkeithmack@reddit
As in for a flashlight or red dot
Exact-Event-5772@reddit
You described a Glock, and then didn’t say “Glock”.
The_hammer_69420@reddit
I’ll take my g17.
Agent___24@reddit
I prefer sig but would take a Glock just because everyone has one so ammo and mags wouldn’t be an issue.
AssassinateThePig@reddit
…mine
Curious_Bookkeeper85@reddit
I personally love my Smith and Wesson m&p shield. I'm left handed and it was the first handgun I've had the magazine release on the correct side. If you don't know how much of a game changer that is. Put it in your left hand and release it. What happens?
Glittering-Ad6911@reddit
Glock
Curious_Bookkeeper85@reddit
All 3
illjustmakeone@reddit
if the situation is local and temporary like you're trying to make your way out of a mall shooting, then whichever has the highest mag capacity.
ConsistentSorbet5993@reddit
What if the situation is local and permanent?
illjustmakeone@reddit
Then get an item that matches your local PD and National guard. By far the largest opposing force limiting your movement to resource or travel or help in the beginning will be those two forces. That means they're also your most likely easiest source of replenishment if needed. Lives will be withering, and lost. People will be desperate and panicked.
penguins8766@reddit
Glock all day
No_Staff594@reddit
None of the above. I love my stock gen 4 Glock 17 with a tlr1
Martincountytactical@reddit
None of the above. All failures waiting to happen
ObviousWeb447@reddit
the glock shares mags with my pcc. I literally have a broken in glock 19 that just rides in a safe with the pcc for just this kind of situation.
lilcoold12345@reddit
None of those. HK USP baby.
Snichblaster@reddit
A bit heavy but reliable and dependable as all hell. Bonus points bc you look like solid snake.
GrillinFool@reddit
If we can choose something else then I’ll go with a 1022 and take the extended range and being able to put 500 rounds in just one pocket.
battlerazzle01@reddit
Go with what you know. So I’m taking the Ruger
RanglinPangolin@reddit
BSLF050
Intelligent-Age-3989@reddit
I'm going Sig simply because I own a Pe65 with a radian kit and it's f-ing amazing and I can shoot the piss out of it consistently (my EDC for almost a year and 3500 rounds so it's my go to for sure.
fnscarcasm@reddit
A Glock without an olight
Reasonable-Drink536@reddit (OP)
Hey i got it during a black friday sale lol
Intelligent-Age-3989@reddit
The light A is a KICK ASS optical for the money. I have one on my p365 and it hasn't budged off zero since I put it on 8 months ago. People love hating them because of the old X model but the S series is awesome
tobillama@reddit
None of them, I'll stick with my own
Reasonable-Drink536@reddit (OP)
A real scholar
tobillama@reddit
Nah, i just really dislike glock.
firearmresearch00@reddit
I'd prefer a light over a red dot if I had to choose but I'd also take the rxm over the glock. Maybe I'm biased or stuck in ways but imo it has a better trigger oem and a nicer grip
Reasonable-Drink536@reddit (OP)
Im not a big red dot guy just picked one up bc the RXM came optic ready otherwise I dont run them on pistols
gadsden1blog@reddit
A rifle.
Reasonable-Drink536@reddit (OP)
I'll post the AR
C4Vendetta76@reddit
19x without a single hesitation
Inevitable-Sleep-907@reddit
Not a pistol
ConsistentSorbet5993@reddit
My AR with 20 inches of fun
Reasonable-Drink536@reddit (OP)
I guess i should post my AR too
ConsistentSorbet5993@reddit
Yes. But always remember the purpose of the pistol is to get back to the rifle that you should have never put down in the first place.
Cool-Topic-1077@reddit
The 19X
gthagod@reddit
Definitely not the Sig lol
Reasonable-Drink536@reddit (OP)
Its not a gun id buy again but it runs
gthagod@reddit
I just don’t have much faith in the company anymore. Traded out my 320 legion for a kitted out Glock 19 gen 5 this past weekend. Now I have mostly Glocks and CZs.
Proof_Bathroom_3902@reddit
None of them, I've got my own.
Reasonable-Drink536@reddit (OP)
Lol fair
17_ScarS@reddit
Scar 17
wangblade@reddit
Glonk
PbCuSurgeon@reddit
Basic Glock
ReverendReed@reddit
Always Glock.
Is it the best gun out there? No.
But when every gun store has them, and it's the most carried platform by law enforcement, magazines, holsters and parts are everywhere for it.
I'd rather have a gun that is easily fed by battlefield pickups rather than the idealistic "best" gun.
yiquanyige@reddit
same reason i would pick a ar15 over other rifle platforms.
Kihav@reddit
Main reason my next handgun is probably going to be one.
Not my favorite by any means (far from it) but the accessibility to parts and equipment is one of the highest
KyOatey@reddit
There are two holsters and I have two hands. I'm taking them all.
TaiyoFurea@reddit
Whichever has better stopping power for hunting
Fine_Eagle_4141@reddit
These would be my secondary. Primary is a rifle. Of these the Glock or the Ruger.
GizmoTacT@reddit
P365
Legal-Management6969@reddit
This is a trick question ... It would be a Glock .. but...
NOT that one ....
I am choosing the one that is compatible with the most commonly sold glock magazines in the nation....
The Glock 19 sized Ruger RXM....
Reasonable-Drink536@reddit (OP)
Love the RXM so far
medicjake@reddit
Whatever has the least aftermarket parts
Reasonable-Drink536@reddit (OP)
All parts are OEM only thing aftermarket is the ZevTech mag baseplate extension
MikeyG916@reddit
None of those.
If it's truly SHTF, 99% of people won't make it past the first week.
You want a stock, boring, non fucked with, ultra reliable pistol that takes easily found and lightweight ammunition.
And you want a lightweight, boring rifle for hunting small game because you will have no refrigeration and trying to store large amounts of processed meat will make you a very nice target.
Stealth, survival knowledge, and woodscraft will be the biggest advantages.
Reasonable-Drink536@reddit (OP)
All of my pistols i keep the internals stock. Only thing I ever add is external, lights, optics, etc. Good points made tho.
alltheblues@reddit
That Glock looks pretty stock to me
RecoveredSack@reddit
Was going to say this. It’s stock as hell
tykaboom@reddit
I dont have an rxm.
I have a g19, and a p365.
I dont have one... yet.
YukinoTora@reddit
Pocket Sand and then a Glock
theskullbiker@reddit
I'd go with the Glock, I have 50 rnd drums for those.
Window638@reddit
Gucci 19x
Pretty_Beat787@reddit
Glock
lasttycoon@reddit
The one I trained the most with
GreatSoulLord@reddit
I already have a P365 so go with what you know how to shoot. Plus that extended mag helps.
kandybeatsmusic@reddit
the p365
Both_Objective8219@reddit
Always the Glock
