A large type school hand wrote a limitation on my temp after signing?

Ok so, I’ve had a ton of trouble with this company. We had to do a paper 8710 for their first mistake/second attempt. Today they called and said FAA certs rejected it so they added an ICAO limitation to my existing temp cert. they hand wrote the limitation on my already signed temp from weeks ago and scanned it to send it to me. Is this a legal correction? Am I even valid to fly? This is their third attempt to get my cert correct.

Check the airman database and see what your name shows?

Takes around 45 days for that to be updated.

Never tracked that, but that doesn't help then. Hopefully you get it sorted, that's such a small thing that can impact you way too heavily.

It’s ATP, isn’t it?
Sky_Jockey@reddit (OP)
No, think about one you’d go to for type ratings/recurrent.

I know there’s some other shit holes but this reeks of simcom

It’s not. But same idea.

FSI?

What’s the limitation
Sky_Jockey@reddit (OP)
ICAO. Can’t fly international with out 100night hours. I was 1.2 short. I now have the night hours required. I actually had the night hours when they made the first correction as well.

Can you please state what type of certificate you’re even talking about
Sky_Jockey@reddit (OP)
ATP 525S. Added ATP at recurrent at this large school. They put an SOE limitation hand written. I got that removed as it wasn’t needed. Today they called to add the ICAO limitation. They had wrote this on my temp cert and emailed a copy of it. The alternation was made weeks after I had signed.

Does the "ICAO" restriction read as follows:
Yesthisisme50@reddit
I would call up a FSDO and talk to someone because it sounds like it might be something an ASI needs to remove now that you have the time
MehCFI@reddit
I’d contact the fsdo directly in the region of the school. This should flag their attention and get a quick resolution

Why is your temp not in your possession?
Sky_Jockey@reddit (OP)
It is. Typically two copies are printed out and signed. Issuer keeps on for record s.
TheGacAttack@reddit
So you have a signed original-- not a copy. And on your original, there is no handwritten limitation added?
Sky_Jockey@reddit (OP)
I have the signed original. No limitations. They scanned and sent an amended one on the original.

This is a copy of the original post body for posterity:
