Cashing in these frequent flyer miles for a - most likely - one in a liftetime flight.
brafwursigehaeck@reddit
i can’t imagine how much you would pay for this. can i get a 1k discount if i don’t want the kaviar?
Avalyst@reddit
Probably paid with miles, I've flown this 8 times and not a single time did I pay for it.
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
Was my first time Kaviar and honestly don’t get what the fuss is about. Like every other fishegg 🤷♂️
brafwursigehaeck@reddit
because it’s expensive. that’s it. i think at least. i don’t get it either.
DudleyAndStephens@reddit
From my one time having it I think that caviar actually works really well on an airplane. The thinner air on planes dulls your tastebuds so the relatively strong, salty taste is appealing.
Is it worth the money? No, but I do get the appeal.
dormidontdoo@reddit
The right caviar is not too salty the good one from right fish is not even black it’s kinda brownish gray color. The cheap one is salty and fishy, usually black on color.
scarpozzi@reddit
It's better with a mother of pearl spoon too.
East_Smile_3028@reddit
It's expensive because it's rare, as in, it is difficult to produce, and yeah, that's about it
PacSan300@reddit
Caviar used to actually be much more common, and in fact was a popular working class food in some coastal communities. But that was before overfishing became a problem, and made it a rare and expensive dish.
Yandexoid@reddit
In the USSR, black caviar was affordable for everyone. It started becoming much more expensive only after 1970
Rooilia@reddit
Not a friend of fishegg anyways, but tasted "normal" kaviar and the "Krim Kaviar". I, i just don't eat this again.
Cultural_Thing1712@reddit
Used to be a poor man's meal in Russia but I guess rich people liked the aesthetic.
ScarHand69@reddit
I noticed they didn’t provide any blini’s with your caviar. Literally unplayable, 0/10.
J/K. A340-600? Does first class have their own lavatories up front or did you get to check out the bathroom dungeon in the belly?
IthacanPenny@reddit
Wait, bathroom dungeon in the belly? More info please!
youtheotube2@reddit
The a340 has bathrooms underneath the main cabin, in the cargo hold
PacSan300@reddit
The A340-600, specifically. And I think it is one of the cool and unique features of the aircraft.
omvargas@reddit
But not all 340-600s have it. I think it's only Lufthansa's, or at least a handful of airlines. I have traveled in Iberia 346s and they didn't have lavs downstairs.
IngrownBallHair@reddit
Maximizes seating and sacrifices cargo space. Also an interesting note is there is a flight attendant who manages how many people are down there because it only has one mask per shitter, so if people lined up downstairs there would be an issue in a depressurization event.
Killentyme55@reddit
I got to fly 1st class one time on a 767 to Hawaii, used Amex points for the upgrade. I went to use the bathroom expecting some glorious experience, much to my dismay it was no different than the hoppers relegated to the many unwashed back in steerage (hey this was the only chance I could say that!). It certainly wasn't up to the level of this trip but it was a nice splurge.
ScarHand69@reddit
I feel like it depends on the carrier. Domestics don’t give AF. International airline are willing to splurge a little on the first/biz lavs.
Killentyme55@reddit
This was some time ago, and in an older American Airlines plane. The 1st class on a 787 is on another level.
I can't see paying such a premium unless money isn't a concern (it very much is), but putting out the footrest and laying practically flat was really nice. Food was quite good too, and the FAs kept my wife and my wineglasses topped off during dinner. I wasn't going to be doing any driving so I figured why not.
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
Of course not. Two dedicated toilets.
noxondor_gorgonax@reddit
Maybe it's better on the ground... Flying messes up our sense of taste
geekfromgalifery@reddit
This reminds me of a scene from Futurama zoidberg was at dinner he asked for rich people food and they bring out caviar that's what rich people eat the garbage parts of the fish.
Shockwave2309@reddit
Same with truffles. Same with snails. Same with veil brain. Same with a lot of that stuff you get in high end restaurants...
Give me a slab of roasted pork, a decent Jus with it and I am happy. No need for shit that tastes like salted butter but costs shitloads of money.
Maipmc@reddit
If you're paying big money for snails you're getting ripped of hard. Where i live you can see people selling them on the street... And people eat them because they're a pest while also being easy to catch.
I hate then though, never even tasted then because i can't stand the foul smell they make while being cooked. I would have to be PAID to eat them.
Forgotthebloodypassw@reddit
The thing with snails is you have to get them to purge their stomachs properly before cooking and some folks skip that step.
Type-94Shiranui@reddit
I thought snails meant for eating are farm raised
Forgotthebloodypassw@reddit
Most all are, but they still need to be purged. But that cuts down on their weight, so some unscrupulous people don't.
TonalParsnips@reddit
If there's any one thing I've learned from Survivor, you've gotta be careful eating bottom feeders because of that lol
Orionsbelt@reddit
Snails are basically a butter and garlic delivery system
Acceptable-Wrap4453@reddit
Anything made with good truffles correctly will be the best thing you’ve ever tasted.
Fake truffle “flavor” tastes and smells like gasoline.
phairphair@reddit
Lobster used to be prison food on the east coast of the US
IC_1318@reddit
I have to disagree about truffles. To each their own, of course, but damn if I could eat truffles every day I would.
Ldghead@reddit
Part of the bad wrap truffles get is because of the prevalence of the fake truffle products out there. Most people's exposure to truffles is the fake variety, and thus it taints the image of the real kind.
byebybuy@reddit
Which, coincidentally, is what fake truffle smells like
s6cedar@reddit
Yeah. My local Sushi restaurant serves their king salmon nigiri with a thin slice of truffle on it, and it’s… special.
solsticesunrise@reddit
That sounds divine. I mean, I thought truffle powder was good on chips/french fries…
Fearyn@reddit
Snails is expensive ? It’s pretty typical in France lol
Melech333@reddit
It's wild to think of how much more wildlife there used to be. Read about lobsters for example. They used to pile up on the shoreline a couple feet thick. They were a poor man's food.
You could literally take buckets to the beach and come back with all the lobster you could carry. They used to grind up lobster meal to feed the poor railroad workers, as one example.
It wasn't an expensive meal until it became rare by comparison.
Shockwave2309@reddit
France also has fish intestines sausages...
max3pad@reddit
That's what rich people eat, the garbage parts of the food.
Psychological-Scar53@reddit
What's even better is that "garbage parts" started out as food for "poor" people back in the day. Lobster, snails etc. we're eaten by the less fortunate and somewhere in history that shit flipped.
throwy_6@reddit
A jus? Look at Mr OuiOui over here lol. Just give me a steak, so rare it’s still mooing. I don’t need none of that extra crap that costs extra money, just to try and be fancy. I just need the basics to be happy
Shockwave2309@reddit
In German we call it "Jägersoße" or "Bratensoße". Pairs amazingly with "Braten" or "Spanferkel"
craig_s_bell@reddit
That's bait for the on-board fishing pond. Easy mistake to make
TheDirtyMinon@reddit
I tried it and wasn't impressed. I also do a lot of work with sturgeon and have squeezed eggs out ofvthem and have seen what else comes out with it.
MerkelousRex@reddit
Thats just not true at all hahahaha. Go ahead try Salmon roe and get back to me.
burlycabin@reddit
It's probably not real caviar.
Savamoon@reddit
Maybe it just needed ketchup?
dormidontdoo@reddit
Black caviar, like other types of caviar, is rich in nutrients, providing a high amount of vitamin B12, omega-3 fatty acids, and essential minerals such as iron and calcium. These nutrients can support brain health, improve skin condition, and boost the immune system, making it a beneficial addition to a balanced diet.
byebybuy@reddit
Fwiw, "fishegg" isn't a particularly common thing in US culture. I'd wager most Americans exclusively experience it is as a topper on a sushi roll (salmon roe). Caviar (with the presentation you experienced) is viewed as high-class, since in the past it was harder to source and therefore more expensive.
Like raw oysters, some people like the accoutrement and ceremony that go with it and the association it has with affluence.
GravyPainter@reddit
I don't like it on its own, but its fun to replace saltiness with it in certain dishes because of the pop
lovestobitch-@reddit
Lol in 1984 my husband had two free Pan Am first class tickets with 3 layovers anywhere in the world and that was the first time I had caviar.
wamj@reddit
Every once in a while I’ll see a relatively cheap price on upgrades to first. I’ve had transatlantic for $400 over the cost of my economy seat.
PGnautz@reddit
You‘re sure that‘s for First Class and not Business Class?
wamj@reddit
Many airlines have merged the two. This was united polaris class.
IngrownBallHair@reddit
When I think business, what I imagine is the bigger chairs, ala premium economy on long haul planes. Not just extra legroom, but the massively upgraded seats that recline a reasonable amount.
wamj@reddit
I’ve done both.
IthacanPenny@reddit
I find an upgrade to J to be worth it if it costs less than $100 per hour. Transatlantic for $400? YES IMMEDIATELY PURCHASE THAT.
wamj@reddit
Yeah, I saw the price and it was an immediate purchase without second thoughts. 9 hours at night with a completely flat bed? Yes please.
usrnmz@reddit
Damn, that’s an excellent deal.
HappyWolverine1324@reddit
is it even real caviar? Most places just call any black fish eggs caviar. But genuine, traditional caviar only comes from wild sturgeons in the black sea and caspian sea, nothing else. The amount on the plate here makes me think it’s not actually caviar.
SkinnyObelix@reddit
Since OP says they don't see what the fuss is about, I can guarantee it's not real caviar. It might not be for you and not worth the money, but you'll know when you hit real caviar. It explodes with taste in your moth and that sends warm waves through your body.
Anyone saying it's nothing special hasn't had caviar because like it or not it makes the body feel things you don't expect from food.
BigfootWallace@reddit
I recently listened to a podcast about a black market operation in and around Missouri in the 90s where Russian mobsters were poaching paddlefish/spoonbills to harvest the female’s eggs because they passed as caviar back in the Soviet Union.
Frogblaster77@reddit
It's about $16k, or at least it was last time I checked for an international Qatar flight. Not quite the same thing here obviously, and depends on route and all, but it's around there.
DudleyAndStephens@reddit
I checked my receipt, the one time in my life I flew real long-haul first class it cost me $23.40 per person (plus a bunch of UA frequent flier miles).
Spaceginja@reddit
I'm so sorry you had to suffer through this. What is the Porsche product, headphones?
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
Amenity kit.
vcircle91@reddit

Being able to score award tickets with miles doesn't mean you're some huge baller. Mostly it takes a flexible schedule and being the type of person who enjoys playing that game.
Twombls@reddit
Or just travel a lot for small company that you expense for travel vs having a central booking thing.
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
Please don’t hurt me. I am not rich 🙂.

hairhair2015@reddit
I have flown to Japan in Polaris class - it is truly an insane experience. As a lifetime coach flyer, I was really not really prepared for how wild it was.
Full flat bed at night
Blankets Pillows Slippers
Toiletry kit
Full meals (appetizer, entrée, sides, a sundae made by the stewardess right in front of you)
A screen bigger than the one on my desktop
Bluetooth connection to my headset
Personal effects locker next to my seat
It was literally like traveling on a spaceship. Hope to do it again someday.
TheBeatGoesAnanas@reddit
United is slowly rolling out Bluetooth connectivity throughout its fleet. Being able to watch IFE with my Airpods in noise cancelling mode is a godsend.
I also was lucky enough to get a cheap Polaris upgrade at the beginning of the year. My cat is currently enjoying the ridiculously cozy blanket I took home with me.
anarchisturtle@reddit
Honestly, I don’t see the point in IFE very much anymore. I’ve always much preferred to just download stuff I know I’ll like on my personal device then hope the IFE has anything good
Twombls@reddit
I've been traveling around for the past few weeks and having a tablet is just inconvenient as a lot of euro airports still make you take them out of your bag.
TheBeatGoesAnanas@reddit
I don't have a tablet and my only laptop is work-issued. Watching media on an iphone is not really enjoyable at all.
On a flight over 10 hours I'll download a few things just in case, but generally that's not a viable option for me. I'm also perfectly happy to rewatch stuff I've already seen.
AbhishMuk@reddit
Why not a few good book(s) and a notebook or a diary?
TheBeatGoesAnanas@reddit
I have many books on my Kindle and I often read during flights. Not for 5+ straight hours, though.
AbhishMuk@reddit
That is fair. I couldn’t probably do 5 hours on a kindle either, though I might come close with a dead tree book. Dunno why but it’s probably easier on the eyes?
bryce_w@reddit
Yeah just had this on my last flight with them - very cool Also the interactive map where it gives you info about all the cool stuff you're flying over and where to look to see it provided plenty entertainment for me. Told me when we were flying over Zion National Park and Vegas!
RedRedditor84@reddit
What is "polaris"? This sounds like stuff you get in business.
AbhishMuk@reddit
Apparently American Airlines business class is called that
RedRedditor84@reddit
Oh, well I guess that makes sense. Except the part where they have their own fun name for business :D
blissfully_happy@reddit
My LATAM flights last week all had Bluetooth connections to my headset. First time I’ve seen that happen!
bryce_w@reddit
Don't mean to piss on your bonfire but Bluetooth wireless headphone connection is available in United Cattle Class now
Didn't get the other stuff though

Tuklimo@reddit
Don't despair. I had a friend bumped to business once because economy was overbooked. Never happened to me though.
YamaHuskyDooMoto@reddit
Dress nicely to increase your chances of an upgrade. ;-)
YamaHuskyDooMoto@reddit
Wow, lots of downvotes. That's ok. Anyone care to educate me on why this isn't the case any more?
Tuklimo@reddit
Heard that one before. My top hat & tail coat combo never impressed a single flight attendant:(
rncole@reddit
I got bumped to premium from Comfort last week AMS-DTW on Delta. They had bought me off my original flight the day before for $500, then day of my new flight was cancelled. Got rebooked for a couple hours later and got the bump.
damienjarvo@reddit
Yep, the last time I flew business was because economy was overbooked. Doha-Jakarta was pretty nice. Whats even better, I get the miles as if I purchased business. I cashed in the miles later as a gift for my sister. Paris-Jakarta on economy only for $200+ miles.
53bvo@reddit
Back when I was a student I once got bumped from economy to premium economy. Felt like a king.
Reddog1999@reddit
When I manage to fly premium economy Cathay specifically bring out their old and musty 777-300ER just for me, I’ve literally never managed to get one of their A350, that do fly on that route
PacSan300@reddit
Their 777-300ER was actually great in its first several years, including in premium economy. Even in regular economy, it was so nice to see them use regular, reclining seats with normal padding, rather than the earlier “fixed” seats in which only the flimsy padding slightly lowered instead of truly reclining. Those seats were hell on a long flight: they gave you bad posture and a numb back/butt.
Tlr321@reddit
Flying from Portland to Iceland a few years ago, a friend of mine who is a flight attendant for Delta hooked me up with tickets through her discount. When I got to check in for my flight, I was upgraded to First Class. I about shit. I was so excited I didn’t even sleep on the plane because I wanted to savor every moment of it lol.
whakashorty@reddit
Ive flown to the uk from nz about 8 times. Not 1 upgrade or an empty seat next to me.
bred_binge@reddit
I've had the elusive row of seats to myself twice, absolutely glorious.
Kony_Stark@reddit
I got bumped to business class once when the lav behind my economy seat leaked water onto my feet and backpack under the seat.
rob_s_458@reddit
Last year I booked my usual seat in Main Cabin Extra. Woman was in my seat, said she wanted to sit with her husband but I could take her (domestic) first class seat. Not gonna say no to that and the FA was fine with it. Domestic first isn't enough of an upgrade over MCE to justify the cost in my book, but I'll take it for free
Salategnohc16@reddit
I had one of my classmate bumped 3 times.
But she is an absolute bombshell ( actress here in Italy)
ISuckAtFallout4@reddit

Danitoba94@reddit
Nope. I read titles and pictures. If the description is long and noticeable, then i read that.
And as someone who flies free, yeah i know what miles are but i never have to care.
OziAviator@reddit
I flew Singapore to Frankfurt in Lufthansa First a few years ago. Bought the ticket 2 days before departure and it „only“ cost me 110k miles - so doesn‘t necessarily have to be a once in a lifetime thing!
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
With the recent devaluation ist more like 200k now. Bought mine before the June 1st deadline for 110k too.

I flew in this cabin a few weeks ago from Delhi to FRA. Was a $650 upgrade from business at the gate. Figured it was a once in a lifetime as well. Pilots told me only 20 a340-600s left in the world flying and LH flies 10 of them. Experience was crazy amazing with the food as the OP posted. Airplane is certainly rare and apparently LH is going to retire them around Oct this year.
sBinalla41@reddit
It is for sure, the other 340s don’t have first class
Antares-15@reddit
True nerds can tell by the engines alone, the 200/300 use hair driers while the 500/600 use real engines
Tof12345@reddit

Of all the luxuries involved, which were most "game changing" compared to peasant travel, and which seemed extraneous? If you had to design an experience that captured 90% of the comfort and convenience while minimizing the cost, what would you keep and what would you leave out?
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
I told the crew. It it similar business class but everything is just that little bit better. The cain has extra spud proofing, the curtain to the poor folks a peasant business class ;) is not a curtain it’s a decider. The food is more and was really good. You have two toilets which are cleaned after every visit. Of course the seat is more spacious. It’s alle the little detail that elevate the experience.

Just did this with AAdvantage points and flew JAL first class. Insanely nice. I will never have a flight compare remotely. Best part is AA never charged me the miles, is it only cost US$25.90
kuchokora@reddit
I flew JAL F from Tokyo to Chicago a while back. Service was great, food was great, but the cabin felt a bit exposed, especially in the middle seats. I offered several times that I would trade seats with the wife of the guy next to me, but he had zero interest in sitting by her.
BenjaminKohl@reddit
Yeah, it’s definitely lacking a touch in privacy, but when I flew it there were only two of us in the 8 seat cabin seated both in window seats, so for me it was almost entirely private.

Gotten to fly Lufthansa F twice now on miles. And actually just checked off Cathay F in April. It's such a special treat. Too bad F redemptions are getting harder and harder to come by.

Got to fly business class with them between SFO and FRA last month. I would not survive 10+ hours in steerage!

Bulkhead seat in Economy is my minimum requirement at this point. I would rather not go on a trip then have to seat in a basic seat. I think premium economy will soon be my next threshold.

Ignore the haters. Once you go business class, there is no going back, especially on a very long haul flight. Frequent flyer upgrades are the way to go, as well as bidding on a seat depending on the airline. Enjoy the return flight.
degas_99@reddit
This is the way. I didn’t realize airlines did the whole bidding option on an upgrade until LH.

Practical-Pickle-529@reddit
Nah bro that sounds heavenly.
If there’s one thing I absolutely loathe about flying, it’s the waiting for 1.5 hours (at least) at the gate, everyone crowding it when they start boarding, regardless of their group, the slog down the long ass jetway, and finally, everyone blocking the damn aisle when i just wanna get to my seat.
majestyne@reddit
I wander around the airport until final call for boarding then breeze through all that in minutes. Still get to the destination the same time as everybody else.

scottydg@reddit

It’s part of the seat
Pipe-and-monocle@reddit
Looks like an incredible experience, enjoy!
Pipe-and-monocle@reddit
Perhaps there’s no turbulence in first class?!!
Outrageous-Split-646@reddit
FRA-HKG?
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
Yes
Dracogame@reddit
Lovely but really too expensive. It’s pretty much unjustifiable unless you got money to burn.
Must be nice tho.
cat_prophecy@reddit
The real question is: how do you go back to steerage after this.
A friend of mine flew to Japan first class (on his brother in laws dime) and said after that, doing the same trip is economy suuuuuuuuucked
DudleyAndStephens@reddit
Real answer: I mostly don't.
My wife and I love to travel but we have a huge bucket list of places we want to visit, both in the US/Canada and around the world. Our general policy is if we have enough miles to get there in business class then we fly somewhere far away. If we don't have the points/miles to travel comfortably then we go to one of the many places close by we want to see. I could spend a lifetime just exploring states like California, Utah and Montana.
I can suck up a direct trans-Atlantic flight in coach, particularly if it's on the return (daytime) leg but if it's any longer than that I'll defer the trip until my points will get me there in biz.
Babna_123@reddit
Hong Kong?
DudleyAndStephens@reddit
Congratulations! A couple of years ago I managed to score LH F award tickets for my wife and I, that whole experience was so much fun. Completely ridiculous and over the top and we had to stop ourselves from laughing about it at the time, but also a great memory.
liverdawg@reddit
A346 😍. I just hope to see one of those before they’re all retired!
WellOkayMaybe@reddit
Is that last photo Hong Kong? Looks an awful lot like Pokfulam, where I used to live back in high school.
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
Three words: Chek Lap Kok 😉
WellOkayMaybe@reddit
Yup! Could identify that approach any day, any weather. My adopted hometown.
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
And a nice one at that. My first time and I like it already.
WellOkayMaybe@reddit
If you get the chance, head to Ozone, a lounge on top of IFC at night. Amazing views.
Similarly, eat at Hutong in Tsim Sha Tsui, and try to get a window table.
upbeatelk2622@reddit
I was about to snark because Lufthansa these days is very unbecoming. Carsten Spohr famously claimed Lufthansa can't even afford to give intra-Europe passengers a free cup of tea... because they make only 7 euros per head (on 1-hour flights that can cost 600 euros) and tea/coffee would've cost them 1 euro.
But I have followed some of these First class cabin crew for years, I know they do solid work. The A340-600 is going to be the actual rarefied experience, more so than First class and First terminal.
keyToOpen@reddit
Are we literally just doing ads on this sub now?
Ldghead@reddit
Until recently, I used to fly Lufthansa business class for work a lot. The quality of the cabin itself has come down a bit, but the service has remained top notch. I hear they are rolling out a new business class cabin soon. I have since moved on to AAL for my travel needs, but may try Lufthansa again if I hear good things about the upgrade.
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
The Algeris is already available on select A350 out of Munich.
Ldghead@reddit
Oh, nice. I fly out of LAX, and typically my hub was FRA, but I did Munich a couple of times. I don't think LAX-FRA operates the A350. I have only done the B748 and A380 for those routes. I may need to look into this further. Thanks!
youraveragereviewer@reddit
Just curious what was in that Porsche little amenities bag? The usual stuff or something wow?
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
Yeah just the usuals. The interior is layer out and supposed to be a cable pouch afterwards. But the contents are thee same as any mediocre airlines business class
youraveragereviewer@reddit
That's something I really don't get... Considering how much a First (or even Business) class ticket is, can't they provide something wow that I can then bring with me and really elevate the experience even outside of the plane? Like a decent Bluetooth headset, a universal charger, a book... Enough with the usual boring creams and balms!
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
You know it like the Kaviar, the truffles and the champagne. People with that kind of money want this expensive creme stuff etc. that’s their world. IMHO.
Boundish91@reddit
The BMW seems posh for an airside vehicle, what gives?
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
It’s first class. They need to be posh.
Boundish91@reddit
Oh i thought you got on via the jet bridge.
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
You do. They drive you to the plane and an elevator brings you up to the jet bridge. The LH First Class Terminal is at a different place.
Boundish91@reddit
Ah i see.
As you can tell, that's a different world to me hah.
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
To me too, to me too…
Illustrious-Pop3677@reddit
It’s not entirely uncommon Delta uses Porsches. A few years ago they were using a 918 Spyder of all vehicles to ferry pax around ATL.
ocelotsporn@reddit
Ugh Lufthansa
altec777777@reddit
I've never seen barriers around jet bridge wheels like that. Interesting.
haerski@reddit
This was first, not business?
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
Yes, LH first class.
s0ul_invictus@reddit
What I don't understand is how you can stomach the patronizing corporate tone, some musty fish eggs and sour grapes is supposed to make me feel like I "finally made it"??? NAWL FUCK THAT, I JUST GAVE YALL $10k, WHERES THE HOOKERS AND BLOW GODDAMNIT?!?
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
I did give them 110k miles and about 400€ in fees…
wadech@reddit
Are you doing this as a personal trip?
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
Yes. It’s vacation.
Flight back from Japan will be economy 😁

Flew business twice many years ago. It feels human. They treat you like one too. It’s hard to go back to steerage.
Frequent_Flyer_Miles@reddit
Jealous is not the word... 😢😢
Markeesee@reddit
Can't wait to make this same flight in september. However I'll be sitting back in premium economy. I hope they accept my bid for business class.
l0stsquirrel@reddit
At 6’7” I think I have had the worse flights your title alludes
OE2KB@reddit
6’5” here. I feel ya.
My legs sit sideways on most flights if I can’t get bulkhead or emergency exit seat.

I’m doing Business Class on LH A380 in a week for the second time. I’ve been trying to upgrade to First Class without success.

Who flies Business/First class yet has the cheap Amazon clones of AirPods …
oscarmike88@reddit
I bought these (Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 NC) after returning two pairs of Pixel Buds Pro 2 (battery and noise-cancelling issues, shitty control app) and they are amazing. The case is absolutely horrible, though.
yamthirdnow@reddit
Yep, I have the same and I love them. Except in one moment when I dropped the closed case and each bud chose its own adventure.
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
Me, because I don’t spend 250$ on air pods pros when I can have the very good Anker ones for 1/4 of the price while giving me 90% the NC performance of the AirPods. Earbuds are disposable item why by over priced stuff?
Any maybe I can fly first I don’t spend my money on any old shit? But if you can read this flight was payed by many years of miles because I fly a lot.
fatmaneats17@reddit
Is this a private cabin? I prefer business class BA over this I think? Looks like your kind of out in the open
PotentialMidnight325@reddit (OP)
8 seats with a privacy screen that goes as far as your waist when lying down. It the old LH first class. Award ticket for the new Allegris seat are impossible to get if you are not a HON. Which I am far from.

I'm flying British Airways first class on an A380 next month I can't wait
