Anybody know what the Bransholme Estate in Hull city is like ??

I saw the Only Fools and Horses episode To Hull and Back once. I've never been to hull. I understand that their public phone boxes are/were a different colour from other parts of the country. Depends how important it is to you that you live in a place that used red phone boxes in the past, when people used phone boxes for making calls. Nobody really uses phone boxes these days, do they? On my town a few years ago, a load of phone boxes appeared and I thought it was silly. Then I looked it up. Apparently, people put phone boxes up, knowing that they will not be used, purely so they can then sell advertising space on the side. Something to do with not needing so many licences to put up a phone box as you would to put up an advertising sign in the middle of the pedestrianised area, because a phone box is a "service".
