Is there any legitimate reason for an Azure B2C tenant to be incorrectly spelled/linked within the central tenant?

I hope this is the stupidest question I've ever felt the need to ask. Why would a presumably competent sysadmin misspell the name of a B2C tenant in our central tenant? (companycl.onmicrosoft.com instead of companyclp.onmicrosoft.com). Everything functions as expected, but I'm trying to inventory all assets/services and ensure access is configured correctly. Outside of the obvious being that it was a spelling error, this has been misconfigured since 2020. Is there any reason at all that this would have been done intentionally?
