I luck out in being tax free so this is a great deal for me, but tax yeah I'd probably pass. I have not seen Federal 147gr touch this price in a very long time, since they lost the LC contract where it was 🤌 someone ping me if it ever does I'm in for 5 cases at least haha

haha I've checked all my boxes, if that used to be on there it's not in anything I've bought in the last 6mo. OH and I run about 1500rds a month with a good amt of that suppressed and comped on PCCs, never had an issue. I love people jump on Blazer but then are raving about indian and czech deals (hint: us companies put a disclaimer because if anything happens, they will cover it aside from disclaimer. Scorpio, Academy's mfg, etc. those international brands won't do a damn thing for you so no need).

That's a big maybe to rely on turkish ammo and last I checked, there is no monarch deal for 147gr and not who I was talking about specifically (tho if their deal could guarantee magtech AND not include tax, I'd order it, a very YMMV deal).

The monarch deals for 115gr at $0.20cpr if you have a normal tax rate of around 8% like most the nation comes out to $0.216cpr plus shipping (they charge tax to every state possible). This deal at $0.219 out the door shipped (if they aren't collecting sales tax) is hands down better for Speer USA ammo...

Not trying to debate ammo deals or tax rates, my point was just about accountability since you mentioned academy. Worst-case scenario, a small claims suit would be pretty straightforward as long as academy has a presence in your state, at least way easier than an international lawsuit against BPS or ZSR

I'm not looking to debate either but, I said Academy's MFGs (Prvi Partizan, ZSR, Barnaul, CBC that people tend to mention and was easier than typing those all out. We could throw in BPS, Igman, etc. people rave on here). Granted, Academy may hold something risk wise I agree in thought process, but I wouldn't personally bet on it.

Have you ever done a small claims suit or a lawsuit in general? Firstly, if you have an ounce of bodily harm you will easily outpace a small claims limit. I've had a firearm blow up on me from bad ammo, they reimbursed me $2000 in rifle parts and 6000rds in ammo I had left from them, after threatening a lawsuit with mustard to back it up.

Secondly, good luck getting paid ever in small claims - even if you win, they don't cut you a check - you get an injunction then good luck pursing that fulfillment. I have people that've owed me money for decades and over a couple grand, it's just not worth the chase. I just won a larger lawsuit last month in the mid 5 figures, nearly 6 years later (not small claims, exceeded limit, luckily I have a family of blood sucking lawyers so not my first or last rodeo I'm sure). People act like lawsuits are ez, even with family legal help it's really never straight forward...

Yea man lots of things can go wrong in life... like I could get brain cancer tomorrow or get hit by a bus. My point is just that with monarch, at least there’s a US company you can actually go after if things go sideways, which is a hell of a lot easier than chasing down some random factory overseas

My brother, I've searched boxes many times and am great at reading fine print. If it's the parts in French, then yes no comprende senior. The ONLY thing on my box is "Do not use in carbine style firearms". Please tell me exactly where you see this on a box you've bought in last 6mo. There are disclaimers on the back and on the 1 thinnest side, nothing about suppressed.

I don't usually buy blazer because I use compensators on some of my pistols and pccs, and cci stated they can shed jackets returning said metal to your face. They use a thin metal jacket and do not recommend for compensated use. Maybe I'm over thinking but for this reason I choose federal or speer over blazer.

Speer says not to use their blaser ammo for that. Thin jacket bullets that can lead to jacket separation. Plenty of people have used it with no issues.

Yes, someone in r/NFA complained of copper shavings rattling around in his suppressor.

Shavings may fly out of compensator.

All due to use of copper platting on the projectiles on the Blazer ammo. The platted copper coating is softer so more likely to have shavings come off.
