I am in agreement, but mostly b/c Bill is the name I used to give guys when they’d hit on me at bars, lol. I’m not even sure why. Dr. Who had a female companion named Bill, but it was before that. Anyway, it’s a good whale name me thinks.

Take it from someone who grew up on the far northern California coast, that is a humpback. There were rocks sticking way out several hundred yards into the Pacific we would go sit on and the humpbacks would come rub right against the rocks and roll on their sides so they could look right up at you. And they did as much human watching as we did whale watching. We would just smile and wave at them. A fond memory.
