Why do I have a direct earning attachment deducted from my pay?

Got my payslip today and found this on deductions it and I am not sure why.
Normal Rate Direct Earnings A - 134.66.
I googled and from what I can make out, direct earnings attachments are only issued when money is owed to the Department for Work and Pensions or HMRC. I don't knowingly owe any money to either though. I had a tax refund due which I had recently received and also checked my HMRC account with nothing there. I was on universal credit for a very small amount of time last year, but I was eligible for that and attended job centre, updated my journal etc. Nothing is showing on my UC account either and I never got any housing benefit.
I can't work out what it might be and my net pay this month is only £1089.49 so it's a lot...
This is the third month of these deductions.
I hope someone can help or has experience with this. I am also in Scotland I know that may change things with tax and benefits.
