It's never been more over than it is now

Corporations are required to maintain employee standards that are high and balanced, lest they cannot retain enough people to run such large operations. This guy owns corporations, not small companies. Take twitter for example, firing staff to overwork the smaller pool instead, and the fallout of all of that should show the difference between imparting a harder working culture, and straight up exploiting workers. > He isn't large enough to make a difference in American lives He's the bloody richest man in the world, almost entirely operating in the states. There's many ways the guy has an impact on the lives of the people, whether or not the effects are seen directly. Investors, business partners, shareholders, policymakers, influencers, there's just so many unseen ways such a huge position of power exerts impact on every common man. > Don't talk about his company and compare it to the standard of living in the country If not his company alone, consider the companies of all billionaires that hold political and social influence. They have turned the country from a republic democracy into a full blown corporatocracy and a consumerist society. It's openly known to what extent lobbying, influencing and propagandising the wealthy elites perform to retain full autonomy over the country. How can you claim that none of that has an effect on the standard of living? It's especially easier to shit on this clown though, because he has just shown the world in real-time how he can buy a big corporation on a whim and run it into the ground with little to no fucks to give about the consequences of his actions or the people and livelihoods it affects.
