New update! Got a deal on the suppressor without the muzzle device now too. Both black and FDE without the muzzle device and works with Muzzle Brake-QD 762, Flash Hider-QD 762, and Flash Hider -QD AK (762) are now on sale for $829 and free shipping on the them.
Gorpachev@reddit
Thanks homie! I've been tracking this all year waiting for a BIN deal. $829 out the door, no tax, no shipping...couldn't pass that up.
OregonTrailislife@reddit
Not buying a suppressor until the big beautiful bill passes.
hbatneal@reddit (OP)
Right now Huxwrx is doing a rebate for the tax stamp on these. So free tax stamp and deal going on… save that $200 for more groceries.
hbatneal@reddit (OP)
Question I have legally on that is if you buy one now and it sits there at the store till it passes, do you have to pay tax stamp? Don’t start the paperwork till it passes?
kopsis@reddit
It is completely legal to buy now and defer the transfer as long as the seller is willing to hold it for you. You don't pay the NFA tax until you submit your Form 4 to get the transfer approved. The NFA regulates possession, not purchase.
OregonTrailislife@reddit
There isn’t a retroactive provision in the bill, but it’s how it will likely be handled practically speaking. The ATF isn’t going to go after people who didn’t register a suppressor when they don’t even have to be registered anymore.
CallsignFlorida@reddit
I wouldn’t think so. You only pay when you start the paperwork and it can sit at your dealer for as long as they will allow it. Gotta be good friends with your SOT if you want to try it lol.
hbatneal@reddit (OP)
$200 is a lot of groceries. Could be worth the wait
mobes313@reddit
How long will that take and I’m betting they’re going to incorporate that $200 saving back into the price.
OregonTrailislife@reddit
In the short run (2025) I imagine there will be shortages and prices might even go up. Everyone and their mom is going to want to buy their first suppressor.
In the long run though, companies will ramp up production and suppressors will become cheaper as supply increases and new companies enter the market.
Overall a win for the 2nd amendment and our ears.
PoseidonWave_@reddit
Yeah if it really does pass, patience will be a virtue. A year or two later the sales would be wild
mobes313@reddit
I definitely am for it. Have two in atf hands right now, but when things become cheaper for consumers usually the makers find a way to increase the profits.
OregonTrailislife@reddit
Once suppressors are removed from the NFA, barriers to entry drop, and the market moves closer to perfect competition.
Right now, prices are inflated due to legal overhead, limited competition, and low volume. But with deregulation, more manufacturers will enter, supply will increase, and prices will trend toward marginal cost.
Economic theory says long run profit = 0 in competitive markets, so yeah, prices should fall hard. Hopefully!
mobes313@reddit
I’m getting what you’re saying. Seems like a teeter totter scenario
CarneAsuuhDude@reddit
I went ahead and bought a b&t srbs with the free tax stamp because I'm afraid everything will be sold out for a while.
Physical_Wind954@reddit
When every Joe Blow and his dog can make and sell suppressors over the counter essentially (yes 4473) I think there would be a lot more competition forcing prices to not go up much if at all.
Spirited-Database-12@reddit
If only it was the 556. Have a G$ super duty and the P&W keeps screwing me on can options.
hbatneal@reddit (OP)
Right now the 556 I am not getting the discount like the 762. One distributor put the 556 “on sale” for only 15 cents below normal cost. On sale right….
Spirited-Database-12@reddit
Yeah, my local SOT said he could get me one in for $1300 all in. Allegedly. I’m sure once I go in to start the process it’ll be 1300 for the can plus the 200 tax stamp.
hbatneal@reddit (OP)
Also Huxwrx is having a free tax stamp rebate. Unsure all the details at the moment. Check my page out and you can learn more.
hbatneal@reddit (OP)
We do have the 556 without the muzzle device. Not on sale but good price. Cost for can, ship and tax stamp would be around $1130. Sad part is the 556 isn’t on sale for me either
Spirited-Database-12@reddit
I may send you a message then. I have to see what my SOT charges for NFA transfers.
Flatpockets@reddit
Do you guys charge tax?
hbatneal@reddit (OP)
In state of GA yes. Outside that no. Tax becomes only an issue if your state gets it upon arrival.
thismyotheraccount2@reddit
A Flow762 will fit on a 556 muzzle device. I do it all the time, run this can on everything from .308 AR10, 6mm ARC SBR, and 5.56 of various lengths.
Spirited-Database-12@reddit
Eh, I guess I missed out either way “item doesn’t exist”
CallsignFlorida@reddit
The Flow 762 on 556 is an amazing combo. I haven’t bothered to get the 556ti simply because of how good the 762ti on my 11.5 is.
hbatneal@reddit (OP)
The difference between the two decibel rating wise is negligible. I run my 762 on everything I got that can go through it. Maybe a little heavier than 556 but don’t want to spend the money on getting two cans.
Minimum_Government@reddit
The 556ti is substantially quieter than the 762ti on a 556 host.
PoseidonWave_@reddit
My 762 stays on my MK18 and I’m happy with the tone
BeansOnlyDiet@reddit
14.5? I can throw my Flow 7.62 TI back on my Super Duty and record it if you want to hear it. It sounds good enough that I swapped my DD build to a Hux muzzle to use it on that, my .308, and more.
Count_Warheit@reddit
Same here but mine is a 6mm flash hider and I have a 556 hux. Now I need another hux can or have to remove the pin and weld flash hider.
Marlton_@reddit
drill it and repin not an option?
medicalboa@reddit
I have one of these and it’s awesome. Works great on my AR10, AK variants, ar15, and a few bolt guns. I paid $950 a year ago.
MrFartyStink@reddit
i have this its great on everything but 300blk. its loud on 300blk due to it being designed for high pressures
