This Toshiba T6400DXC luggable 486 PC is finally alive after replacing lots of leaky capacitors on the main board and LCD panel boards. The broken CCFL tubes for the LCD backlight has also been replaced with LED strips.

What kind of switches it has?

I believe they are Alps SKFR Black switches.

486 laptop - oh the power!

I think that I have the same capacitor issue with mine. One day I switched it on, and no video. It was perfect the time before. Which was a month or so I guess.
It is such a cool machine. I love how the keyboard detaches on these. Thank you for sharing! Did you get Epic Pinball on there yet?

I see! Looks like you have the plasma display version? The mainboard is probably the same and should be checked! Is Epic Pinball a tradition around here?
Privileged_Interface@reddit
That's correct. Orange plasma. Yeah, I'm going to open it up again. Fingers crossed. Oh, there's no private joke or tradition with Epic Pinball, although maybe there should be. It is just a very well known DOS game.
