Im looking at upgrading later this year, maybe during black friday if i find good deals.
Im reusing my Case and storage+buying a 2Tb m.2 SSD.
So im wondering if my PSU and CPU Cooler could/should be reused, or if i need to buy new ones.
These are the part that im considering. The budget has not been set yet, it depends on what deals i will find/ how the market is late 2025,
CPU:
AMD Ryzen 5 7600x
AMD Ryzen 5 9600x
AMD Ryzen 7 7700
AMD Ryzen 7 9700x
AMD Ryzen 9 7900x
Mobo:
Asus Tuf Gaming B850, or somthing a bit worse or a bit better, depending on deals
GPU:
RX 7800 OC
RTX 5070
RX 9070
RX 9070 TX
RAM:
DDR5 6000MHz 32Gb

An older midrange psu may not fair the greatest with the 9070xt, which is the most power hungry gpu on that list

Didnt think of that! Have to buy e new cooler then

Not sure where you're buying from, but dual tower coolers like the thermalright pa120 are like $35 and compete with much more expensive models like the noctua d15

Living in Scandinavia, the store im most likely buying from is selling a Thermalright PA 120 SE ARGB for 46USD, but hoping for a deal on black friday

The smaller single tower style hyper 212 isn't ideal for AM5 cpus. They will run significantly hotter than your old CPU. Something like a dual tower thermalright phantom spririt would be much better, especially if you get a 7900X. 9600X would be plenty for just gaming, though.
You want a new, at least 750 watt gold rated PSU as well. On paper the CX650M may be enough for the lower end CPUs and gpus on your list, but it's a old PSU and bronze rated. It's not worth the risk of damage to components if it fails in the new system when you can get a new 750 watt for less than $100. Thermaltake toughpower, for example.

Thanks! The store im most likely buying a lot from doesnt sell anything for Thermaltake, but will look for a Gold rated 750watt PSU!
