Upgrading CPU & GPU, for music production & gaming.

Hello all, I am in the middle of upgrading my PC. I am looking to purchase a 9070 and a new processor. I am a music producer and also a heavy gamer (literally) and I have been struggling to find a good balance for cpu intensive tasks & good gaming performance. I am using a AM4 motherboard.
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/hJDKgn this is my current idea of a new build.
I am upgrading my 6650xt and 5600g.
The only things that I have changed from my current PC is the GPU, CPU, PSU & CPU Cooler, the RAM, SSD, Case & Motherboard is what I own currently.
I am worried that my CPU will bottleneck (not really sure what that means if it’s a good cpu) and I think the 5950x isn’t the best for the 9070s gaming performance. Basically, what I’m saying is, please can someone tell me what the most efficient CPU (in stock and less than £400) would be great for gaming & cpu intensive production. - Also making it compatible with the rest of my pc.
Thank you very much!

If you are staying on AM4 and want to maximize CPU performance you get the best CPU for that platform.
Changing platforms will cut into your CPU budget and will result in lower CPU performance overall. But if you do not need high count multi-thread, but need high single-thread performance instead - going for a new platform might be a better solution.

Ive just tried the 7 5700x3d and 9070, it’s giving me a 9% CPU bottleneck? I’ve read other places that the two work really well together. I’m a tad confused.

our big mistake was am4. just better build

So I’d have to replace the RAM and the motherboard for this to basically work as well as I want it to?

really not. it was just a (honestly better) build. then your cpu will not absolutely bootleck.

also no way the old and new cpu bootlenck the 9070
