I tried it once from a friend and was absolutely despised. Warm tuna salad with melted cheese on a bun, disgusting. To each their own.

I’m from the Midwest and this was a staple in my house growing up, lol. Open-faced tuna buns with cheese baked in the oven until the cheese was a little brown and bubbly and the bread was toasty. Eaten with a fork and knife. It’s still a comfort food! To each their own for sure.
