CPU Cooler not working

It is a Gamdias BOREAS_M1-610.
This is all very weird. Bios and MSI center show a pump fan spinning, but the CPU fan itself is not.
I checked the headers, bios, and nothing makes sense.
Mobo: MSI Pro 650 vc wifi

Try another fan

I tried. Switched it to one of four system fan headers and nothing.
I have a pump fan that is reporting 1300 rpm but this...is not liquid cooled? It is strange.

pump fan header is the same as other fan headers but it can pump out more voltage or amps, for cooling that needs more juice like water cooling.
I'm on all air cooling and using the pump fan header for a regular fan.
Wait so I'm a bit confused. Is the CPU_FAN header not working?
Or fans for the CPU cooler not working?

A little of everything. MSI Pro 650 vc wifi. Gamdias Boreas CPU cooler.
Fan on cpu cooler(The Boreas) is not working, despite being plugged into the CPU Fan header.
And I don't know if there are other fans that might be spinning.
In BIOS I am seeing a Pump fan at a high rpm.

You say theres RPM showing for pump_fan so that means theres a fan connected to it.
There are other fans in the rig right? Case fans most likely
IronCircle12@reddit (OP)
Only case fans. 3 in, 1 out. All of them independent of BIOS control.

Okay so one of those fans are in the pump_fan header and the cpu cooler fan seems broken. Case closed
kluuu@reddit
Okay well, if you already tried plugging the Boreas fan into sys_fan headers. Doesn't that mean the fan is busted?
IronCircle12@reddit (OP)
Possibly. But why is there still a pump RPM reading?
kluuu@reddit
Okay so have you tried plugging that fans that are on the cpu cooler into a sys_fan slot?
kluuu@reddit
Probably because it isn't plugged in the CPU Fan header
IronCircle12@reddit (OP)
It is plugged into the CPU Fan Header.
