Heatsink for SN580 SSD?

I wanted to know if I needed a heatsink for my SN580 SSD, I put it on the spare SSD slot of my Asus A17 laptop that has a motherboard that only supports PCIe 3 and not 4, even though SN580 is PCIe 4.
Given this and the fact that I won't use it to game and only do engineering stuff on it like using microcap, vscode, quartus vhdl, etc... I should just keep it this way and not install any heatsink?

This drive runs quite cool, and temperature increases happen only when writing very large amounts of data in a short time.
