I understand your logic, but if you talk to a lot of ftm trans people, a common theme is women who feel that their lives are unnecessarily difficult due to sexual objectification, and a belief that society inherently favors men. Among a wake of transphobic responses, I'll take a more nuanced approach. I think you're probably right. There is not enough of an incentive from "woke" politics for the transition considering the negative consequences. There is some inherent cause behind the decision. Now, we can debate mental illness all day long, but the truth is, there are some people who are better off after transitioning. That being said, I think a lot of people in the queer community (especially younger people) are caught up in the fad of it all.

A person's alpha constant is multiplied by the natural log of their height above 4'8. which is going to be either 1x (5-6ft) 2x (6-6.5ft) or 3x (above 7ft). Meanwhile being below 4'9" will make your alpha score be a 1x/2x/3x respectively while also having an alpha score in euclidian space.

Why would anyone voluntarily give up their perfect life with no problems to change their gender which comes with surgeries, medication, extreme hate and personal danger, discrimination, probably effects on sex life, and many other struggles in day to day life? Seems like a bad deal to me if you're not afflicted with gender dysphoria.
Unless of course these people do feel a great disconnect between their identity and their sex which causes them enough psychological grievance that they willingly undergo all this.
I would say the much more narcissistic thing to say is that something you're not yourself affected by is not real.
And why do you even care? It apparently doesn't affect you, so what's your grudge?

It's not smart, it's not worth it, but there is a twisted sort of logic to it. Lots of victims go through similar transformations and make themselves less attractive "on purpose". Though it's a lot healthier to do so with less permanent changes so that it's possible to revert after you escape the unsafe environment.

This is more common than people even know. I dispatch PD and do social work with a few of my departments, sort of a victim services thing; responding to scenes to coordinate help but mostly victim welfare followups. I have seen it a bunch of times, a rape victim building a shell of ugliness to protect themselves. At first I thought it was just depression but I've met victims that stay that way for years. One in particular stands out. It's awful to see.
