Born is Arizona, moved to Babylonia (Has a condo made of stone-a)

Anytime someone says something about a condo, I still say "made of stone-a". I'll probably stop saying that the first time someone actually knows what I'm taking about, lol.

A lot of GenX won't even remember this. I'm on the older end and was in elementary school when it was popular. I do have to admit a strong fondness for his book *Cruel Shoes*.

Yeah I was probably in 5th or 6th grade but had older cousins. And I'm in the oldest year for X

Oh, I have to find my copy and revisit it. That book was so out there.

Vaguely remember it. Didn’t understand it then. Don’t understand it now. It’s a 3 minute bit that went 60 seconds too long. Steve Martin is great though.

Not much to understand. There was a big King Tut exhibit that travelled across the US from 76 to 79. It was a cultural phenomenon at the time. SNL did this bit about it cashing in on the hype.

Steve Martin is pure genius.

Me too. Also went to the live show at Universal amphitheatre before the roof. Also saw Tut exhibit @ LACMA. I consider myself quite lucky. Grew up in LA in the 70 - 00s.
