Any free places to co-work?

A colleague and I (both based in MK), thought it’d be good to co-work; however we want to avoid coffee shop type places.
Any recommendations? I heard Unity Place is decent , but haven’t been in there.
Ideally free, just want to test out how we do whilst co-working.

MK:U offers a free membership and then you can use their co-working area which also includes a kitchen. There are work social and tech events held there too, worth checking out. There's a paid membership option too which gives access to further meeting areas, equipment usage, it's pretty decent.

Howe park wood cafe. There is a back room that’s quiet and good for working .

Unity place is great! Get all the basics free so it's a good place to build on.

Unity Place is great. You can book a room for an hour or two, or just use the desks in the communal space. I always buy something when I’m there just to feel like I’m contributing, because you really can’t argue with free desk space and WiFi

Where is the communal space area? I've been to a few things at x+why but it looks like you can book a day pass and then have to pay membership fees?

There are 3 meeting rooms that can be booked for free, plus open desk spaces and long bench style tables in the food area. It’s all on the ground floor, you just walk in 😀

Yeah I’m totally good with buying coffee, lunch etc from there. Thank you

I really like meeting colleagues at the Moxy in the hub. It’s a hotel (a Marriott) so it’s fairly quiet most of the time. The coffee’s decent, it’s a nice space with decent WiFi and parking is free under Sainsbury’s for 3 hours (which is handy as the time restriction can bring a conclusion and stop meetings from over-running).

Nice thank you - hadn’t heard of moxy 👍

Natwest Entrepreneur Accelerator if you sign up to a cohort. They have a co-working space in their branch in Centre MK (next to John Lewis).
