War Sport SBR 9mm

The only real online discussion I found was a Reddit post from this sub 7 years ago. Not much of a discussion besides the company went bankrupt and the CEO (maybe) left some sort of dumb comment somewhere online.
But, much like that poster, my local range/store has a “new” one. Never been used. Decently priced. I checked it out today and it’s really clean. Really well built. Disassembled it. The parts seem really high quality.
Would you buy it?
Also I’m aware of the big beautiful bill and what may come of it. Realistically if that bill passes it would be months of not a year before we get some real change. I’m not concerned with giving the ATF my fingerprints or another $200. I’m probably already on multiple list for the goon subreddits I follow.
Thanks for your input.

I would personally buy it.

I bought it and it’s fucking awesome. Putting a can on it as soon as the government is open to process form 4’s.

Fuckin nice.

What is decently priced? At the end of the day, it's still just a blowback AR.
If it doesn't have a Mlok rail, it would be a hard pass from me, especially since your kinda stuck with it long term.
Also, the 9mm SBR Warsport is missing the defining feature of Warsport rifles, which is the rail over the comp.

$800. Plus I’m trading in a .40 cal handgun and they’re giving me another $50 on top for trading in towards a purchase. All in I’ll be out of pocket $325 then the $200 to Uncle Sam.

The rifles had some dumb features (looking at you, handguard over muzzle device) but they were made from good components. That said they weren’t without flaw, and you already know you have zero warranty. And you’re married to it as an SBR. If it’s a stupid good deal I’d consider it, otherwise I’d pass.

They were absolutely not. Out of spec parts, even on simple stuff like pic rails. That's why they went tits-up. They've been resurrected 3 or 4 times now and every single time they go out of business because the guns they build are straight up trash.

Damn. I admit I didn’t follow their stuff in the later years. There was a period the rifles I handled/shot were decent but I was never very interested, especially when they started going downhill as a company.
