For my resume is it better to put my best accomplishment across all of my jobs or put as much detail as I can for my most recent job?

I've only been at my current job for a year so I have way more accomplishments from my previous two jobs. Should I just put one or two bullet points for my current job and put more detail for my other jobs? Or does it look better to have lots of bullet points for your most recent job?

This is what works for me. 1) OverView/Personal Statement 2) Key Accomplishments across all jobs 3) Individual Job histories 4) Education 5) Skills (which I have omitted in some resumes) So yes, I do 1/4 of the page on key accomplishments spanning 10 years up front first and foremost. It is 2nd thing anyone sees. And most ATS and resume rating have scored it favorably. If the accomplishments are big enough, it should not be buried down south.

How long is the current job. If you've been working there for 10 years, I'd split that up into multiple things like projects or teams you have worked.

I'd focus on the quality of the bullets, not the quantity of points. If you have something to showcase from the job such as a responsibility or skill, then list it. That might make old or recent jobs longer or shorter...

Tailor the accomplishments at each job towards the one you’re going for - don’t put them in order of ones you personally are proudest of etc Depending on how many jobs you have it should be most detail on most recent and then slope off. I’ve got 7 jobs on my cv. The last 3 or 4 just list dates employed.

When I was searching i had a couple versions of my resume based on where I was applying (Game dev, so one for unity jobs, one for unreal jobs). I've worked in a couple different techs, so I would shift a few bullet points around basically. IMO, totally fine to hammer some older positions over current ones. However what really matters if you can find items that match what the employer (and whatever automated tools they use) are looking for. Figure that out first.

If you’ve only been there 1 year I would at most put 1-2 bullet points. Potentially none
