Haha it sure is man im smiling every time I drive it now with that crazy stopping power. I still got the original tire in the front and a Michelin one in the back.
I got my first puncture last week at the rear tier hit a rock that didnt see in the woods.
Yeh they are so good! Unfortunately my front started to leak around the lever connector (guy said he's fitted hundreds and had never seen this happen) eventually lever went to bar and lost all braking. He's fixing it up now anddd putting on a rockshocks recon RL fork! Gonna be sweet
Nice, I'm trying a rockbros one off Amazon today just a cheap one. Maybe the standard saddle is fine and I just need to get used to riding as I haven't had a bike in years!
I just finished testing it for my blog and yes, this bike is incredible for the price.
Strengths:
Power
Torque
3 level crankset, 21 speeds
Battery range
Saddle and saddle height
Front suspension
Application
Equipment
Agile, not too heavy
Weaknesses:
Screen brightness
Speed lever lacks precision
Kickstand too close to pedal and makes a lot of noise on bumpy roads
Rear brake alone is not powerful enough
Plastic noisy fenders
If you're interested, I have a coupon to lower the price to 799€
hey i wanna try the code but i am from bulgaria. also i know its better to order from the bulgarian store but that coupon has big discount and might we worth the risk
Btw the hydraulic brakes from duotts are really bad, almost worse than the mechanical ones that gave me a brake fade in a steep hill.
But I have found a solution and that is to take my existing hydraulic lines and change calipers to Shimano mt200 and I can say its like a new bike now. 2500km done and its still going strong. Original chain aswell.
Nice bro I just ordered the hydraulic brakes since I recently witnessed brake fade with my mechanical brakes. Other
than that fantastic bike. My car has barely moved last month
Hello, how is the bike with the hydraulic brakes? I'm looking at the C29 and would buy some hydraulic brakes to install. Which brakes did you go for and how easy were they to install? Are you still enjoying the C29? Thanks
Hello man of course I still got my beauty. As mentioned above i ordered Duotts hydraulics for my bike. But they are not the best. After looking in different subs I found that I can change my calipers from the duotts to the Shimano mt200 which are just plug and play. At the same hydraulic line I got from duotts.
I still have the duotts hydraulics on, i dont service it myself when it comes to brakes unfortunately.
The duotts hydraulics are not the best, they leak oil. But if you want the throttle sensor so the throttle cuts when you break you must buy it seperately.
But i already got the Shimano calipers that I will switch too and that is much better according to another duotts enjoyer on facebook
Amazing, thank you that's very helpful. I was also looking at the Shimano mt200 brakes! Do you use the throttle much on your bike? How is it on throttle only mode?
I havent tried the throttle only mode, i use 99% pedalassist since im trying to be somewhat healthy. I use throttle in city or where there is much people and I cant speed.
This is the setup for now. 2 year old on the bike and 6 year old in the wagon 🤠its really strong and consistent. But of course the battery suffers with the extra load.
Hello. Its really worth it. Crazy power in my opinion. I have done around 40-50km so far with pedal assist no throttle. I had 2 bars left. And im 92kg.
Top speed is 52km/h but with my weight and wind im reaching 46-48km/h
First assist stage is 22km/h
Second is 30km/h
Third is 38km/h
Easy to maintain that speed even in an uphill.
The only thing i want to change is the tiers for ones with less drag.

What's good saddle upgrade?
Important-Ad-6754@reddit (OP)
I havent upgraded the saddle. But I can highly recommend Hydraulic brake Shimano mt200, the caliper fits perfect if you already have the hydraulic.
If you find a nice seat replacement im interested to hear it 🔥
I got now 2500km and still love the bike as much as when it was new
Infamous-Metal-103@reddit
I got mt200 fitted today along with a crossking tyre for the front and speedking for the rear. It's like a whole new bike!

Yeaa well i have a squishy thing on mine. But riding for long time will make that ass sore anyway
Infamous-Metal-103@reddit
Yeh I'm 6ft 4 and 102kg so probably doesn't help but I added a 140mm riser step to the handlebars and it helped loads
Important-Ad-6754@reddit (OP)
Haha im 6ft and 92kg, yea Ive changed mine aswell so its more rised and it sure does. Great bike though
Infamous-Metal-103@reddit
Yes it really fast and fun!
