It’s the Serendipity book series. There are 72 volumes. Written by Stephen Cosgrove and illustrated by Robin James. I believe it was very collaborative as their joint portrait was on ever book.

My 4th grade teacher had a lop eared bunny named Benjamin. Kids in the class got to take turns having them at their houses on weekends. I took him home the most.

I had... 6 or 8 of these? I can remember Catundra, Sassafras, Serendipity, Leo the Lop, and another bunny one but the name escapes me. Loved them as a kid, read them over and over. Does anyone know how many were actually in the series?

My sister had a bunch of them and I wasn't allowed to touch them because I would get "cooties" on them. She would then get pissed when I wouldn't let her play with my TMNT toys for the same reason.
