How much do you make (anyone in aviation not just pilots)?

I’m curious what different roles in aviation pay.
I’ll start: Location: USA Type of airline: Commercial (pax flying) LCC Job: Mid level inflight management YOE: 5 (no degree) Salary: About 77K per year

UPS FO. Around 300k
macwanders@reddit (OP)
Wow! That’s awesome, congrats! Do you like cargo?
GlobalServiced@reddit
Cargo doesn’t complain
RealGentleman80@reddit
US LCC Check Airman: ~$390,000
BryTheGuy06@reddit
Not sure if this counts—I make $70/hr as a UX designer (contractor) for a major airline.
macwanders@reddit (OP)
I’d say it counts! Do you have other contracts with other industries as well? Or is that your full time client?
BryTheGuy06@reddit
It’s full-time, but I do have another client that is in the SaaS space. That brings in about 5-10 hrs a week of extra work, which is nice.
Mendeth@reddit
Around €60/hr net
TheRoblock@reddit
OCC air ambulance 26 EUR per hour plus a lot of extras so more like 32-35 EUR.
Anti_CSR@reddit
USA CFI $34/hr for primary students, $40/hr for CPL/CFI flying through the school. $50/hr independent.
RiverFrogs@reddit
Why’s it more for CPL than primary
healthycord@reddit
Advanced instruction probably.
Anti_CSR@reddit
/u/healthycord is correct. Instrument also pays $36/hr. Anything other than PPL is considered advanced.
MunitionGuyMike@reddit
$25 an hour, CFI USA

Anyone in aviation that isn’t pilots?
How about people studying aviation that work normal jobs?
I make ZERO because I got pissed off and walked out of work last night lmao. The company isn’t gonna honor the contract so neither am I 🤣. These Japanese companies just expect all the employees to take whatever bullshit they throw at them.
That’s why I want to be a pilot, I’m sick of Japanese work culture, but stuck here bc I’ve got a kid here and my Japanese MIL has cancer. I’d do anything for an American job again.
Commercial_Mouse1008@reddit
I make 140k a year as a aerospace engineer
soufboundpachyderm@reddit
Japanese work culture is literally destroying them too.
Candid-Agency-8706@reddit
Flying high in the aviation industry,y,, makiking a decent living.
darthVADERobo@reddit
I worked in avionics before switching to industrial electronics. This was right before covid, I was making 36/hr in MA for Gulfstream Aerospace.
