Help! Grandparents have forgotten about bonds/investments in forgotten accounts?

Where do I start with this? They lost paperwork after a house fire recently. They have memories of which banks they’re with. That’s all I got. There are trusts they made for family members etc

Seconded. I used this site to recover my long lost Premium Bond account details. Took a few months but it worked as advertised with minimal input from me (name, DoB, five years' address history, IIRC).

Wierdly was just looking at finding lost pensions and there’s a couple of websites in this link that might help you, near the bottom looks like will find all accounts https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/how-to-find-an-old-pension/#traceforfree
