A free Costco hot dog and soda if you could finish it in 1 minute and 50 seconds

The Costco hot dog and soda combo debuted in 1984 for a price of $1.50. It has remained that price until now. Costco decides to get rid of samples and try a new strategy. A free hot dog and soda if you can finish it in 1 minute and 50 seconds. (In other words one dollar and fifty cents equals one minute and fifty seconds).
Unfortunately if you don’t finish the hot dog and soda under that time you have to pay for it. Why would Costco do this you ask? Because instead of wasting money on free samples inside the store they’re basically giving you a hot dog and soda to fill you up.

How big is the soda? I can eat a hotdog in under 30 seconds

It's not worth 1.50 to do so though. I wouldn't enjoy it.

Me neither. I'd rather pay 1.50 and not have to eat so fast

The samples are there to convince you to buy the product you’re sampling, which means more sales for Costco. Hotdog eating contests with time restrictions means it’s more likely the Costco cleaning staff have to clean up hotdog vomit, which is an increased cost.

The samples aren't for you to fill up on...

For too many people free anything means back up a truck and take everything.

I could finish it in 20 seconds

Is this even a challenge?
