Why do all the smaller vehicles veer away from me when passing? Do they not like me? Am i too loud? Its a little rude honestly

I drive a Honda Fit with the windows down and don't want a blast of air in my face or for it to move my car.
I also watch a ton of car crash videos and if a semi is moving around I don't want to be near it. A little tap could really ruin my day.

I can put you in my trailer if youll feel safer

I agree. If me and passing vehicles aren't sharing a white line I feel discriminated and I jump into their lane. Sharing is caring afterall

When traveling at high speeds next to a truck, your vehicle may be pulled closer to the truck because of the air movement . . ."

I (4 wheels, sometimes 2) typically stay far away from trucks because I enjoy being an alive person.

I'm giving space, and if I saw your trailer swing I'm giving more
Notols@reddit

How much wiggle ya giv’in her? You back there just bounc’n from stripped line to stripped line sometimes over? I’ve followed a few like that, even I veer away and pass them. Like they waving their phat ass at me or sum shit. I’ll pass.

People tend to scatter when they see my double milk tankers sway around even though I'm in my lane the whole time. Honestly helps with lane changes since everyone is spooked.

I'd rather know why all the big trucks veer toward me while passing, riding right on the zipper or even encroaching into my lane.

I've noticed a LOT of truckers these days have a crazy struggle with target fixation. They can't check their mirrors without swerving to either side.
Not sure why. I don't have that problem and I don't consider myself superhuman or anything.

they've seen your CSA scores ? IDK.
Insciuspetra@reddit
Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.
or
You a sloppy passer.
nexusprax@reddit
They get scared. Especially female drivers you can tell because they will be going 80 then slow down matching your speed while staying right near your trailer tires
BingBongFyourWife@reddit
If I’m in grandma lane I’ll move away from them too. Give everyone as much space as they can have and make sure everyone feels safe as possible
I remember driving cars before I got CDL and how scary it could be to pass a truck
Sufficient_Tooth_949@reddit
Because it's safer and or they are scared/Inexperienced
I'll take the veer away, over the veer into, ive had that happen a couple times, probably distracted
OrganizationNo6167@reddit
It’s good that their scared, stay Tf away 4 wheeler
amazingmaple@reddit

Wind, or they’ve watching you bounce from one white line to the other as they came up on you.
