ULPT How to get scumbag tenent out of rental property

Pretty much the title. I live in a very liberal province (Canada) where tenents can get away with not paying rent while still living in your rental property for months.
How do I get a scummy tenent out of the property without breaking the law or getting fined. Can't change the locks or move out their furniture with a heafty fine.

Broke people will foam at the mouth for even small sums, offer them some money to fuck and they’ll most likely do it.

Thank you for giving an actual tip.
Cuneus-Maximus@reddit
Why, specifically, are they not paying rent?
100500116@reddit (OP)
They recently got divorced and said they can't afford to pay
nochinzilch@reddit
That’s what happens when you decide to become a landlord.

Thanks for the useless comment.

This place hates anyone with a rental property. Apparently every landlord is scum for owning more than 1 property.

I mean, you came to the wrong place. We are more likely to tell your tenant where best to hide shrimp before they leave
Cuneus-Maximus@reddit
Careful, OP could go into the unit under the guise of maintenance and hide shrimp to get the tenants to leave.
TheGingerSomm@reddit
OP sounds bright enough to do that to their own dilapidated property.

That he bought from his parents in his mid twenties

Thanks for being a useless drag on society.

You pay them a bunch of money to make moving out seem worth it to them
InvisibleObelisk@reddit
"Cash for Keys" they call that
pterofactyl@reddit
I know.

"Don't go away mad, just go away" that's what I call that.
going to court sucks trust me

Think I’ll fuck off then.

Talk to your landlord and tenant board. They will provide you with legal ways to remove tenants who are not paying rent.

read the Residential Tenancy Act of your province. If you didn't do that before becoming a landlord, well you done fucked up now didn't you.
I would suggest that you fix whatever issue the tenants have that is permitting them from withholding rent.
I then suggest you sell the property because well you shouldn't be a landlord. Maybe invest it into a business that actually produces something of value instead of hoarding value from others and being a shitty rent seeker.
If you hate the Liberal ideology of Canada, I suggest moving down south, they're speed running some kind of shit that seeks to take away liberty from all its citizen.
